Amazing videos. I am always search for your videos first when I'm rehearsing for a sunday worship service. I like the way you improvise. They are natural. God bless you.

love it brother i'm about to buy a 70s vibe squier jazz bass i dont know if i won't a 4 or 5 string
@esongsore4 жыл бұрын
Either is fine. If you think you will be playing a lot of gospel music, but a 5. A lot of the notes in gospel are played on the low B string. if you have a 5, you can also always play it like a 4. GOD bless you and sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I am not always able to stay on top of these comments.

What’s the purpose of the Velcro? If any?
@esongsore5 жыл бұрын
It's a gruv gear fret wrap. It has a foamy surface that can mute the strings. I only use it when I am recording or slapping the bass. It ensures that notes do not ring unnecessarily if touched mistakenly. Not sure if my answer makes sense... If you search for it on KZbin, you will likely find demos. Thanks for watching 💕

I love your cover, can you share your tabs please

Thank you for watching. Unfortunately, I don't make tabs or use them. This was improvised on the fly.

Helen Allen I hope you can play a lot better than me one day. May God grant you all the tools you need to do so....and may he give you the strength to practice a lot.

Emmanuel_S Music I don't know if I'll be better than you, but I'm so blessed to be able to practice daily and to continue praising the Lord in worship songs. You are too kind, thank you.

Trust me, you can be a lot better than me. In the early days, I spent approximately 5 hours a day practicing. I haven't really been practicing over last 13 years.....but once you ears mature to a certain point, listening to music becomes practice. The early stages are painful, but once you get through them, you will be pretty much set. Just make sure you push through that point when you really want to quit. Cheers!

On what note are you playing

I don't understand. Do you mean what key?
@walterkersting62383 жыл бұрын
I like the embellishments, all the other tutorials are just playing root notes on the third beat.

Glory to JESUS! Glad you enjoyed it..yes, a lot of our modern Christian music can be pretty monotonous. But GOD gives us creativity for a reason. I believe that worship, like art, should be expressed in varying forms.
