Thank you, Victoria! I feel so much more secure when people stop acting like therapy is something bad and signs of weakness. Your video helped me a lot, so thank you for normalizing it and making clear, that it‘s very helpful and that you should take the opportunity to get professional help when you need it.

Just saw your Ted talk for the first time because a student (actually 3 separate students) of mine shared it for a health assignment, so that’s why I’m checking out more about your KZbin channel. Just wanted to let you know that you are making a positive impact on many people by being so transparent regarding your challenges with your mental health. Thanks!

I love how vulnerable you were in this video. Applause to you. I understand where everything was coming from. I have never been one that suffers from anxiety, so this kind of opens up a lot of things that I kind of never really knew before. I love your positivity!

Yes yes yes don’t even have to get more than one second in to comment! Therapy is so so so helpful and there is such a huge stigma, one that I’ve experienced myself. I went to therapy for the first time in June and I wish I had gone so much sooner. It is so helpful to talk to someone and have them ask the important questions, and cry sometimes. You are amazing and I so appreciate you bringing light to these important things surrounding mental health. Sending light and positivity your way! You continue to inspire me to really face my anxiety and eating disorder head on!

For a long time I felt exactly the same way!! But literally everyone can benefit from therapy, you don't have to wait until you're in a mental health crisis. @jojofoeshow224 жыл бұрын
Get that “I’m not good enough” vibe out of your head. It’s not worth your time. I’m in the same boat as you and what helps me is that I tell myself “you are good enough” “practice is going to be amazing” etc. while smiling in the mirror everyday before practice even if I’m having a mental breakdown about it! This is such a small step but it has helped me so stinking much! You got this! I believe in you!

I get really stressed about volleyball because I’m a starter on a 1’s team and I started having asthma attacks and an old injury started hurting again, so I hate practices now. I get jittery and nervous before practice which makes it hard to breathe, which makes me have attacks, which makes me even more stressed. Just wondering some tips? I’ve tried a couple breathing exercises but I’m worried that I’m just overthinking it

I went to therapy for 8ish months but I stopped bc I didn't trust my therapist and that made it unhelpful. So I didn't want to waste my parents money. I might have to go back to get on meds bc currently my ADHD is acting up so badly that I can't read anymore. Which ofc is making my anxiety and depression worse. Which affects my eating disorder. Which affects my OCD. So really I'm just a mess.
