Great video! Long time follower and customer! I’ve been restoring headlights for a year now using your method and nextgen products. I work at a Chevy dealer, and recently they’ve been letting me work on the used cars on the lot. Most of the vehicles I’ve been working on have been those 2014-2015ish Silverados. Man those are so time consuming. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us. Definitely has helped me make good side money. 🙏🏼💯

Nice Brother! The dealer letting you do that is great experience. I hope you're charging more for those Silverado's! lol even the prep work is a huge pain. Sounds like you're in the exact spot I was when I first started lol

@ For sure bro! Since there’s not much competition in my area, I’m sharing at least $180-$200 a Silverado. New headlights here parts and labor cost $1400.. crazy!

@@StartRestoringHeadlights Hey Brad, great video! I did my first 2014 Silverado last week and that was the first and last time that I charge a regular price on those. From now on those are $120 or more. Keep the great content.

Once again, excellent content! Could you do a video on how you document each job? If a warranty is offered, surely there is a system in place to track each vehicle. This might seem like a dry subject, but I think it's an issue that someone looking at the business must consider. Thanks and keep'em coming!

Thank you! I use an excel spreadsheet that tracks my customers. From their first and last name, to make model year and address. Its segmented into months.

Bless, Is the clear coat similar to meguiars headlight coating which uses aerosol? If not then what kind of formula is it made of?
