Amazing Compilation! I saw the movie 9 times! However, I just saw the Musical at the Pantages in Hollywood and it was a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT! They failed to bring the heart and soul to the stage ENTIRELY! Don't waste your money on the stage production! IT SUCKED!! In sooo many ways, IT SUCKED!!

Thank you!! I don't see this opinion often. I saw it on Broadway several months ago, and it had NONE of the magic of the movie. It was basically a cast singing pop songs straight to the audience. There was very little direct character-to-character interaction. Not a single character relationship held any emotion and that includes Christian and Satine. Not good. If you want to go see a cast of actors dressed in the style of Moulin Rouge sing pop songs by all means you could like it. Otherwise, take a hard pass.
