Glad you had a great time sea fishing. Like you Leanne, I tried it once, went out from Bridlington on the Yorkshire coast, and also got sea sick. I said never again. I think I'll stick to my match fishing 😂. Fleetwood is just up the coast from me too. Literally 35 minutes drive away.

Awwww no mate. Would u not take some tablets for it and try again? X

Er, I'd have to think about it. I went out in rough seas. First I thought I was dying of sea sickness, then I was worried that I wouldn't die. It was an awful experience on the day. You don't get that at Partridge or at Weston Pools. Not unless you've had a shedful in the bar the night before anyhow 😂

@simondickinson5577 no u dont get that at partridge mate 🤣🤣

The comment at 1:13 made actually LOL. I know a few people that do sea fishing. and as well as from the boat, pier fishing is also good too. £30 for an all inclusive for 4 hours seems pretty reasonable. Something worth looking at next year :-)

We're going to go again next year! We was really lucky with the weather yesterday x

Hi Leanne I'm from Brum so we are just about as far away from the sea as you can get. But years ago a group of us got together at a pub near where I worked. We travelled over the country but mainly to the south-west, however, we did fish out of Rhyl and Beaumaris and had some good catches from both venues one time out of Rhyl I must have done over 100lb on mackerel on feathers full house every time down with 6 big mackerel it was like Bleak fishing with a whip and on the same trip I had a nice Turbot out. if you can find a venue/ boat that does trips with live sand eel that's brilliant, you drop to the bottom and wind back up, the takes are strong like hitting carp on the method, but that's usually in the southwest. Regarding sea sickness, I would recommend you take Stugeron tablets never let me down you can get those from Boots also if you are feeling a bit icky don't sit down and put your head down keep your head up looking forward and keep your eyes on the horizon if you are moving up and down it helps balance your inner ear.

Should try shore fishing. Beaches , piers etc offer a multitude off species at different seasons of the year.
@leanne_angling Жыл бұрын
Is there places that supply kit n bait for that? X
@johndingwall1210 Жыл бұрын
@@leanne_angling not really unfortunately you would need to purchase some kit if you wanted to give it a go .

You ever fancied Barbel fishing? I know there's not much up your way in the North West, but a trip to the mighty Trent should be fun 😀
@leanne_angling Жыл бұрын
I have caught a barbel on course fisheries before. I'd love to catch a big one tbh! X
@RunninWithScissors Жыл бұрын
@@leanne_angling There's nothing like the fight of a proper river Barbel, they'll strip your reel 5 or 6 times before they'll be netted, especially specimens between 9 and 16lbs.

Defo take them tablets just in case. Nowhere to hide when your seasick! Absolute horrible feeling. Been a few times sea fishing, not really my thing, though I’d love to go cod fishing in Norway!
@leanne_angling Жыл бұрын
I'll be honest. Never been sea sick before and I've been on loads of boats! So it didn't cross my mind Lessons learned! I will b taking em next time lol My son really loved it though so we will be going again! Norway sounds amazing tbh

Hello Leanne how are you have you been out at sea anymore fishing and feeding the crabs 🤮😂 wish I could stomach it because I would love to have a day's fishing with you but I just couldn't cope being sick again it took me a couple of days to get over it it was like a hangover and that sea Gull couldn't of timed it any better Whitby was rammed packed everyone was looking then that happened 😂. Anyways tight lines where ever you are x

They do say the more intelligent you are, the more likely you are to be sea sick so I can only assume sea sickness tablets will reduce the grey matter!lol x
