Great video...looks awesome. I booked this hotel and will be there in 34 days. Been to Cancun and Playa three times...I wanted to be closer to La Isla (mall, shopping, entertainment area) this time.

@@travelwgrace2900 -- Amazing hotel. Loved it there (compared the other three 4 & 5 star all-inclusive ones I stayed at). Great vibe, new/fresh, good staff, superior food, excellent garden-pools-beach. The bad -- hard/cheap bed. I should have went to the downtown Walmart and bought a memory foam topper. My back ached the whole time in Mexico. The mall was closed most of the time. Went to Isla Mujeres...private catamaran for my birthday and got stupid drunk! Cancun Airport is chic and nice. Riu Palace Kukulkan location is near the fire and police station -- so lots of sirens night/day.

Looks like a awesome time were there any pool parties or night life coming next month for my 35th bday looking for something luxury but also lit at night!

Yess we had a good time!! There’s pool parties during the day and if you go to the strip there’s plenty of bars/clubs to choose from . Honestly I only liked two of them and then at the hotel the lounge is always open at night (it’s not lit but you can make it fun!) and the bar in the lobby you can make it fun too w the right ppl! I hope that helps and I hope you enjoy it! Soak it all in!

Thank youu!! Actually there's a booth by the pool area where you can sign up for excursions! I'm not sure of the name at the moment but they brought us to another RIU hotel down the street and we jet skied from there! The company provided the drone video for a great price!

hiii :) no you can book the activities right on the resort! They sent us to another resort down the street for the jetski activities!

can you go in the beach and actually swim? I have heard the waves are pretty rough, like you can't unless you're a professional swimmer.

Yess you def can swim on the beach!! You don’t have to be a professional swimmer but def stay close to shore and adhere to any swimming advisories if they have any. We were in the water everyday! 😊

The food was 10/10! Honestly my favorite was the steakhouse because I love me some lobster tail and veggies. I also liked the Japanese restaurant and the buffet. The buffet had everything but you need to make sure to wake up on time during the buffet hours! hahah They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, the lounge areas during certain times have small tapas to eat as well!

I hope too, it was a great experience!! Also, I didn't show it in the video for birthday celebrations, but you can book your room to be decorated! I secretly had ours decorated while we were at the pool. Great surprise!
