I’m into maintenance/hvac been thinking about making switch to diesel tech

It's a solid field. Would advise staying out of the automotive diesel. It is very dirty if you work on heavy equipment or do any engine or leaking seal work. You will probably start making poverty wages. On top of it you have to buy all your own tools. It's a never-ending battle haha. It takes a few years and a few job hops, usually to be compensated properly. Also, you don't have a die of heatstroke and lung cancer from the attics, haha.
