A common English error is to misuse the words *good* and *well* . The rule of thumb is that *_good_* is an adjective and well is an adverb. Since good is an adjective, you cannot use it to modify verb doing. Therefore it is right to say *playing well* rather than saying _playing good_ . So, Bo - "Glad to see Michael playing well . . ."

Wright definitely seemed off, i was a bit surprised but Van Gerwen was on fire, he played brilliantly but Clayton was phenomenal too.

@@peterramsden3134 oh sorry i didnt know u can only win to play very good. The reason that semi final was so good was coz both players were playing at a very high level. MVG played much better than he has recently and it was only Claytons brilliance that stopped him otherwise he would have won it today.

I'm always impressed with Clayton. He's a really classy guy in victory and defeat. Cullen has an interesting shot. He doesn't line up the dart with his eye but rather brings it back 7-8 inches away from his head to the right. It's amazing he can hit anything at all! I wonder if he knows he's going bald? One rarely gets a look at the top of one's head. I know it sure snuck up on me. Wade on the other hand, practically shoots the dart right out of his left eye. If he didn't have glasses on he'd probably be forever poking himself in it with his flights. Win or lose MVG is the master of interesting finishes. It's always fun to see what he comes up with. All in all all of my favorites lost. Wright, Anderson and Wade all down the old rabbit hole. Both Clayton and Cullen are showing up in finals a lot more frequently as of late.

Nice to see mvg hitting a bit of good form. Smith is the one surprisingly that's struggling just now. Just can't seem to get going at all. I know it's early days but u just want that first point on the board and get yourself going but he just seems a bit tight for some reason. If I'm rite he is the only that hasn't scored any points. Clayton is running away with a big lead already so it's looking like the question is who is going to go through with him as he looks like a dead cert at the minute. If mvg and Gary along with price and Wright get there a game going this could be one of the best premier leagues yet in terms of quality. Clayton for me is going to be the man to beat then a toss up with mvg and Wright. Don't think the shorter format suits price at all and same with Smith. U can't give slow starts away in the Premier league especially now the format has changed. Before u could at least have one more shot at a draw. Love the changes don't get me wrong but I do miss that extra leg at times plus the only thing I think is a little unfair is whoever throws second needs to break there opponents before the 6th leg or they are out. Suppose that's what makes it so intense coz u know u are out if u make one mistake on such a short format. Love the finals but just wish the would make it same as the world match play or summit like first to 18 legs coz I rever stxhcing the final with mvg and taylor when it was 11-3 to mvg and it was over in like 30 odd mins. Just as u get in to it before u know mvg had match dart. That being said I love the Premier league. Along with the ally pally no matter what venue it just seems to be amazing. Just wish the crowd would show a bit more respect at times as seems like it's a common thing to pick someone to jeer before the match even starts. Don't think it's fair but I suppose that's darts nowadays
