Gurney was the obvious model for Mr. Incredible (Bob Parr). He should be raking in all kinds of royalties from those movies. If not then he should sue. I hate to say it but, Gary seems to have really lost his "mojo". Don't get me wrong, he's still very good but, actually winning a tournament appears to be out of the question any more. It's a shame, he seems like such a nice guy. Smith's 161 check-out was absolute perfection. I do feel, however, that he's making fun of the older guys by having that "reverse male pattern baldness" hairstyle. I really like him though. He looks like he could be my son, as he appears nearly exactly as I did 30 years ago. I just wish I could have ever thrown as well as he does.

For me personally the matchplay is over before it even startet, and it was clear that all my favourites went out first round. Just can not enjoy darts anymore.😥

Mate I feel you. For me my favorite player (Ando) is also out abut we should just enjoy the amazing matches in this tournement. The Darts have just a too high Standart to not watch it.

I’d say the standard of darts now is higher than its ever been. Of all the 32 players in this tournament, you could make a case for about half of them winning the trophy, where in previous years there were only a small handful who were good enough
