There’s a lot of factors. Koreans got tired of Lightsum The Netz didn’t make it any better They changed concept and member change line up. People were fine with it? But it didn’t make a difference. You clearly ARE comparing and you don't have to be defensive about it, people are allowed to have opinions. In fact I agree with you. But IVE's discography overall is better than Lightsum's. They have many great songs like Eleven, Love Dive and I Am that deserved to be big hits. I don't like the direction they went with Baddie but I'm still enjoying Either Way and Off the Record from this comeback.

But then I like four of the members of Lightsum. Not like in IVE, I only want Liz 😅 Only one member. But If you asked my fave group ever... It is always been GFriend. I listened to their music 3 yrs ago and I love them all. I have just following them for only 1yr, but they disbanded. 😭

@@liezelb.a.794Gfriend is/was one of my favorite Kpop groups too. I became their fan in 2016 and was lucky enough to see them perform live once. I will always curse HYBE for making them disband when the members clearly wanted to continue being idols (5 out of 6 are still doing it). Lightsum's other songs are pretty good too. Alive is the best, and there's also Vanilla and Vivace. Regarding IVE: Liz is great, but I can't comprehend how none of the other members appeal to you. They all have their charms.

Because when GFriend disbanded (I hate HYBE and SoMu), I was very sad and heartbroken. When IVE debuted, I was stunned by LIZ's voice. I immediately loved her voice. I starting to like Leeseo and Gauel. Starting to like all the members of Lightsum. Hoping they do not disband early. Though my bias is Juhyeon (best dancer and singer). Nayoung looks more cute now because her cheeks become chubby and I love her voice too. Chowon's voice is great too! I love Yujeong for her cheerfulness and facial expression in every MV, and Sangah's rap is perfect for her voice, but seems she's tired in other stage performances. I hope all of them have enough rest. I waited 5 yrs for Juhyeon to debut and when she debuted, I waited 1year for their comeback. I hope everything is good in their company because I am starting to like this group. For me, if the members are famous already, even if the song is not that good, people still love it. But if the members are not famous mostly the new ones, they should make a very good song with a catchy tune and rhythm and amazing harmony. Do not forget good lyrics. Just like in friendship. Just like GFriend. But if the person is literally new (Pretty or not), he/she must have an angelic voice and have very good music. In Korea, there is a lot of young people who want to be an idol. Even here in PH, they want to go to Korea to be an idol too. What I like in Lightsum, especially now there are only 6 members, each of them has highlights. The screen time is equally divided. The lines are perfectly distributed. Especially Hina where her expression is not consistent. But she still has a good moment in MV. What I don't like in IVE is the distribution of lines and the screen time of the members. Why they can't make all songs equally divided for each member in the first place? The screentime of each member is not great either. Especially for Liz. I am following another girl group too. Lapillus and Cignature. But they all have the same vibe with Lightsum. For me the great vibe I feel in a group is GFriend. Even though they work individually I can still feel their great friendship. Looking forward to this group too.

But the girls have no room for any lacking at this point, they have to prove to cube if they’re still worth investing their money into lightsum or not. Cube has become trash over the years, but they’re still the ones who have the final say on lightsum’s future at the end of the day.
