Comedian and Violist Isabel Hagen Performs Her Stand-Up Routine

Isabel Hagen stopped by the Greene Space to perform her combination viola/stand-up routine. She joins Drag Queen and musician Thorgy Thor for a conversation around being a classical musician and comedian in @GreeneSpaceNY.
Isabel Hagen is a comedian and classically trained violist with a Bachelors and Masters degree from the Juilliard School. Her comedy career has led her to be featured on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and as a New Face of Comedy at the Just for Laughs festival in Montréal.

This was very enjoyable, thanks for doing this, Isabel! The talk afterwards was also very heartfelt, interesting and sympathetic. (don't you dare remove the starting three letters of the last words there!) It's funny how just alternating between serious viola pieces and stand-up lines is funny! :D The only other time I've seen something close to this was the TEDx talk by Jennifer Stumm, "An Imperfect Instrument", which I think also included comedy (long time ago I watched). Keep doing what you do and being you!
