These are great points, and I would absolutely get behind Biden in the sense of voting for him over Trump if I were a US citizen. The second favourite President of my adulthood said it best: 'Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me - you can't get fooled again.' Still I agree with GC and think he is correct to wield his influence and speak his mind on the issue. Biden is clearly not fit for the task and should be replaced. Furthermore, the Dems effort to gaslight anything with eyes and ears is much more damaging to them than replacing a clearly unfit candidate. Could you agree that keeping Biden on would be a missed opportunity to display strength via a rejection of personality politics and a commitment to a healthy political political process?

@timmeeyh6523 At this point in the process (the primary elections are, buy and large, complete and the voters have selected their preferred candidate. To have a change imposed on the voters, in my mind, is contrary to representation by the people. Additionally, with no replacement identified, throws the process into disarray. Disarray that benefits felon Trump. The Constitution provides a transition process should there be a need to replace a sitting President. I trust in that process if Biden is elected. Given felon Trump's history and Project 2025's objectives, I distrust that the Constitution's processes would be implemented should felon Trump be elected. As to Clooney wielding his influence, I am wary of an actor using a bully pulpit to espouse what is, in fact, an opinion.
