0:47 I would argue that first 'orange' cat was actually smart. There's a fight or flight instinct in most if not all of us carbon based lifeforms. The toaster did its thing and the cat instinctively went to flight. A dumb cat would have tried to fight the toaster, and probably burn itself in the process.

Cats are amazing and loving, you just need to respect their boundaries; something to mention - there is a subreddit calls OneOrangeBrainCell that lovingly makes fun that all orange cats have one brain cell collectively and they're sharing it (most are orange cat owners themselves). I love my cat, she's amazing, smart and superloving. // edit for grammar ~

I had a cat friend who was orange and was the smartest cat in the hood. I called him the sentinel because he patrolled the rooftops, always knew the score. He'd jump 8 feet over a 20+ foot drop to come say hi. never missed. miss you, Boog

I'm more of a dog person myself, but I have an objective respect for cats because they are, as a rule, smarter than the average domesticated pet. Dogs are pliable and relatively easy to train. Cats do whatever the F they want.

3:00 These are very subjective responses. I disagree this is a dumb cat. The Catnip Cat was smart enough to get to the catnip. Some would argue that catnip makes a cat dumb. Humans have a similar 'catnip' which we call 'weed' or marijuana. I would suggest cats become one with the cosmos when they are properly intoxicated. When high, one does not sweat the small stuff. Smart cat.

I also had a smart orange cat. We put hooks on something to keep it closed and had to replace them with childproof ones because he figured them out.
