I actually know where the internet came from. It was an entire chapter in my intro to communications class freshman year. It started as the ARPANet, which was developed as a way for defense contractors to talk to each other and share research data in the 70s.

I get it's a show and they rehearse some things but like a game show you aren't supposed to know exactly how things will go. I thought the jokes were actually being thought of on the spot.

Moo Deng is unfortunately biting because she's not being treated well. The zookeepers keep handling her way more than is good for her and pushing her past when she's comfortable interacting with them. Any time you see the whites of her eyes or her yelling or biting, it's because she's scared and is acting defensively against the zookeepers meant to look after her. She's also being sprayed with the hose more than she's OK with, as you can see from her facial expressions in those photos, cute as they are. They're using her for social media attention and money and are bringing way too many people into the zoo to see her and allowing people to harass her and she's not getting the normal socialization with other hippos, swimming in deep water time, and alone time that is necessary for her to have. It really sucks and I hope she is treated better soon but the zoo she's at doesn't seem willing to do that.
