Hari is an American born and raised comedian (who has Indian parents) who took offence. (American Born Confused Desi). Most of the Indians born and raised in India who have come to the US don't even watch Simpsons. So there is no chance of offence.They probably won't even notice that APU is gone cuz they never knew the character. The comedian does not represent the entire Indian community, especially the people who have recently moved to the US. Sadly, sometimes Indian born people don't even realize that they are being made fun off by westerners and even ABCDs due to cultural/communication barriers. Some ABCDs are smart asses, they like to make fun of their Indian born parents by mimicking their accent but at the same time blame the western world for being racist. They are truly confused.
