I dont follow modern politics very much but i do know something of political science and history. Ive never seen nor heard of an account where a nation's leader has behaved in such an irresponsable, short sighted, careless and unprofessional fashion when dealing with matters of state. Even despotic tyrants and dictators have some semblance of profesionalism and discretion when they dealt with things like this. Treating the military provocation in such a cavalier way, not caring about who glosses over and ganders a peek or an ear to what your discussing is disturbing. Its important to be transparent and accesible to the people in a free state. But it is very foolish, incompetent and dangerous to not consider this as a very delicate and serious matter best to be discussed behind closed doors with your military advisors and to discuss the situation with them before presenting an official response and appropriate action to be done. Moreover, this should not be seen as anything that Trump should be praised for in any way because this is not bold, nor is it strenghness of character, it is not something to be construed as transparency, but rather it is lazy and irresponsable. Such behavior where information security is extremely lax invites potential threats, both domestic and foreign, it weakens the nation's presence on a politically globalized world and damages its reputation and loses the respect of far more competent nations. These are a couple of reasons why this kind of behavior is unacceptable.
