Phyllis has ALWAYS been an outlier. She used her comedic performances to expose deep ceded dispositions toward dark skinned natural beauty and other issues. I remember she did a stand up gig yeeears ago where she showed a picture of her natural self emerging from water or in nature and the crowd erupted in laughter. It wasnt funny in the least bit but she low key read them in the classiest of ways but they were too asleep to even realize why the picture was probably even displayed.
