Great to see a scene of the past. I used to catch Comengs on the Burnley/Clifton Hill group back before the last time in April 2012 on my visits to Melbourne. I hope they do a tour on those lines again or a miracle they come back in revenue service on those lines but I highly doubt it

Speaking of that, I saw 2 comengs stabled in the sidings at southern cross on my way to Footscray a month ago, which are the sidings that Xtrapolis trains are stabled! And that is something you don’t see every day on the Burnley and Clifton Hill groups!

Awesome video Mate I remember long time ago the Comeng trains usually runs on South morang line which is Mernda line around 2011 to 2015 until X’trapolis runs now hopefully this Comeng train will be on Clifton group in the future before retirement replace to new X’trapolis 2.0😊👍

I highly doubt it. Most of the Comengs are basically on lines that haven't got their replacements yet. Already since last month they stopped running on the Dandenong lines. I hope they do a tour run in the future on the Burnley and Clifton Hill group as I am hoping they go to Hurstbridge which is the only line I never travelled on a Comeng

Loved this, sad knowing it probably won’t ever be a revenue service :(( I’m also glad it was an EDI as imo Alstom are the worse of the two types
