Lemonade Puppy Chow - A Summery Treat Everyone Loves! Tart and Sweet At The Same Time!

Lemonade Puppy Chow
9 cups Chex Cereal
12 ounces vanilla almond bark
1/4 cup butter
zest of one lemon
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup Country Time Lemonade Mix (or up to 1/2 cup, if desired)
Place cereal in a large bowl and set aside.
In a separate microwave-safe bowl, add the almond bark, butter, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Microwave for one minute, then stir. Continue to microwave for 30 second intervals until the almond bark has melted. Store in well to incorporate the butter and lemon juice.
While the almond bark mixture is melting, in a large bowl stir together the powdered sugar, salt, and Country Time lemonade mix.
Pour the melted almond bark mixture over the cereal and stir gently until completely coated.
Gently add the almond bark coated Chex cereal to the dry ingredients and gently toss or fold to coat the cereal with the powdered sugar mixture. Store in an airtight container.

I am a lemon lover and I have truly enjoyed this series! Here's a tip, if you buy a bag of lemons and don't use them quick enough they dry out and shrivel. To keep them fresh, store them in the refrigerator in a bowl covered with water and a lid. They will last a month .. or longer! 🍋💛🌟

That’s a great tip. If I feel like they’re getting a little old, I squeeze them and freeze the juice in ice trays, store the frozen cubes in a ziploc baggie, and use in drinks or other dishes later.

Love your channel❤ and the lemon episodes are great🍋🍋🍋A couple of tricks to get a bit more juice from lemons pop in microwave 15'20 secs on high. Then roll on counter before cutting. Also when using the squeezer besides cutting in half also cut off each end a bit until you see segments showing. Then squeeze and then flip around to squeeze second time. It won't be huge amount, but every bit counts. Thanks for a great channel❤

I've made the chocolate version of this but never would have thought of lemon, but I like the idea, and I'm sure it tastes great, probably refreshing. I put mine in a brown paper bag with the powdered sugar, go outside, and shake shake shake until it's covered, less mess.

I had a knot in my neck. The specialist told me it was my saliva gland that was messed up. Never had a medication that I was given would be sour lemon drops. Luckily I have always loved lemons. This series is right up my alley. When my jar of lemon drops are gone I have the stuff to make homemade lemon candy and can really amp up the tartness of the candy.

I just made this today. This lemon series is going to kill me.This is SO GOOD! I have been doing intermittent fasting for a few years now and had to wait for 3 whole hours before I could try it. You have me on a lemon craze 😂 While researching a lemon curd recipe, I stumbled upon a recipe for lemon paste (a lemon flavoring which is similar in texture to vanilla bean paste). You may want to search the internet for the recipe because it's easy to make and would work well for all your lemon recipes. Thanks again for sharing this series of videos!
