Great Video Ed! There’s a LOT of great info here. I’m now on my 6th BMW ( my first X5). After seeing all this new (to me) info, Im just as in awe as I was 30 years ago when I got my ‘77 320i. Thank you and keep it up!

You did a FANTASTIC job explaining these features!! I own the X5, which is my 4th BMW. And I didn't know the features you spoke about. It could be because I'm a female who focuses on knowing the general features, so you are correct that not everyone knows the extra hidden functions. Although, enthusiasts would!! My husband learned a lot as well, so GREAT job explaining the info. From southern U.S.A!

how do you like the instant water heater for your home?
@eddiemcars3 жыл бұрын
I like it. It takes a little longer than a conventional tank style water heater because it’s heat on demand. However, it’s continuous, so once it’s going there’s never a worry about hot water depleting. My favorite feature is It also has a recirculating button in our master bedroom, that once active., You’ll have hot water in about 2 minutes.

Why is it on your phone?? Doesn’t this all show up on the screen on the dash?? What horse power does the M have. I just purchased a 2014 i50 X-Drive This thing really is a Rocket ship!!! @eddiemcars2 жыл бұрын
Mine is a 2016. On the main screen. Press option Check box split screen. The you should click the controller to the right. Option should say split screen content? Then you can load time/weather. However my 2016 is no longer supported for weather or time since AT&T tuned off l3g cell towers
@chrismifsud71542 жыл бұрын
@@eddiemcars Thanks, I have split screen enabled but no options for clock and weather. Yours must be a later 2016 (after May or June). Mine is January 16. Thankfully 3G still works for me, so I can still use the My BMW app on my phone.

Like The E53 or E70?? Unfortunately no. Not that’s there’s anything wrong then but I’ve never owned one. I used to want a 4.4is for the longest time! If it’s your first car I would suggest the newest you can afford. Try to get a 2008 xDrive35i for reliability.

@@eddiemcars thank you for the reply. Yes I just saw the car and the closest that it's for sell now it's the 4.8i but that car is too powerful 350 hp for me and the tax is too much. @eddiemcars3 жыл бұрын
Hey Zoe, do you have an M? You can run Sport + but the BMW does a pretty good job at keeping temps low normally. I did notice my previous 50i would get hot in traffic and Sport + didn’t help it since it didn’t have the additional cooling.
@zoehaze3 жыл бұрын
@@eddiemcars Not at the moment. I'm in a 05 FX45. Closet thing to my bimmer wagon I use to have. Thinking about FX50 too but not enough power. The F85 checks off all of my boxes power and practicality. Other option is Jeep SRT. Jeep is for dragster and bimmer is for drivers lol. Thanks for the good info you putting out!!!

Nice! I had an obsidian 06 FX35 AWD with Sport Package a few years ago! I wish I had went with the V8 back then! I desperately wanted to upgrade to the FX50 because of the larger brakes and the newer style! The SRT is good but the F85 will certain get your speed and handling fix all in one!
