I am a deeply grieving mother. My only child my daughter Layla made her transition to heaven on August 5th 2021. It's always been her and I for 41 years really 42 the time I was pregnant with. Being kind I find is helpful especially being grateful every single day that I get to breathe. Being grateful every single day, it has changed my world of thinking, trying to give forgiveness to someone that has injured me is hard but doable. Praying for those who injured you has a dual purpose, one purpose is to heal you and the other purpose is to heal the person that heart you. Asking God everyday what can I do to serve my Heavenly Father and my Lord everyday seems to Brighton my day. Also making sure I read my Scriptures and daily prayer. By doing this, I see unknown wisdom that comes to mind almost everyday. And as soon as I recognized these things I think God for that wonderful gift. One day at a time it starts, before I knew it it had become a habit that help me see the light instead of the dark side. I will pray for you, just like I pray for others that live a unhealthy life also. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings, it can only help others that is rowing the same boat. Part of our promises we make when we are baptized is to mourn with others that mourn, comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and to love and help wherever we can. Missionaries, in particular, LOVE LOVE LOVE helping people, so if you can find some in your area, consider starting there. 🙂 Good luck, but don't cast off faith. I promise you it does become worth it in time, even if it's not as soon as we'd wanted.
