The moment I saw these I had to snag them up! It will be my 3rd pair of Huraches....I use them when I run on the treadmill and they are great to run in!! No complaints on the shoe's runability and I prefer to size up on them because they run small in my opinion because I wear a size 14 in typical nike/jordans and size 15 for Huraches. How long does the nike hurache last on average if worn almost everyday?

@@SpI3eR123 I've never consistently worn them everyday for a long period of time but if I had to guess I would say this kind of phylon used for the hurache would compress and lose its impact protection properties over the course of a year or maybe even 2. What is surprising about nike's phylon tech is that it has outlasted the foam midsoles of my keen hiking boots. In other words, the midsole foams that are used in "quality" hiking boots breaks down and dry rots faster than Nike's phylon midsoles. Phylon is surprisingly some durable shit in my opinion. I work in the woods and it surprises my how stupid some of keen's hiking boots models are made. Some of keen's hiking boot models have exposed midsole foam where the outsoles (tread) are. That's like making a mountain bike with a great tread on the tire but has really cool looking areas where the inner tube is exposed to the elements just because it looks cool. I know that's a bit of a tangent but I wanted to illustrate that huraches have exposed phylon on the outsole too but it's more durable than the foam used in "top brand" hiking boots.

I absolutely love them. I got a pair from a friend and before you know it I had to get another pair. First ones were white 2 years later I need another set for daily wear. The second pair they’re red. They’re comfortable unique and stylish. Do you recommend any other shoes similar comfort?

There’s nothing quite like the Huarache but the presto reacts are really good and any of the mainline adidas ultraboost models 👌🏽

I know that you should go 0.5 size up with these. I was wondering if the 0.5 fits like normal fit or you can getaway with 1 size up if u want more toe room?

Because the upper is basically a neoprene sock you can probably get away with a full size up but you might not be able to lock your heel in as well.

@@Impxcting i own 0.5 and 1 size up. Either way it works. 0.5 fits like a glove, comfy. 1 size up if you want a little bit more wiggle room at your toes.

It feels like a synthetic suede. Definitely not the standard material as this was a “limited” release.

I have them, they are nubuck which is a buffed leather that gives it a suede-like texture, great quality and soft, definitely not synthetic material. You can smell the leather on these. Should hold up very well over time.

It depends on how well a typical Nike 8.5 fits him, but I would say go the full size to be safe 👌🏽
