Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd Cover) By Paqx

my cover of Comfortably Numb by English rock band Pink Floyd from their eleventh album, The Wall (1979).
The original was released as a single in 1980, with "Hey You" as the B-side. The music was composed by guitarist David Gilmour. The lyrics were written by bassist Roger Waters.

About Paqx:
An up and coming musical artist named Paqx brings an introspective sound with his unique voice, lyrics & production based out of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
A bipolar biomedical engineer, he revisited his once home of southern California in the spring of 2018 for a court case and partly became responsible for sparking the 2019 mega hit Call You Mine alongside Bebe Rexha and conceptualizing the idea for the 2019 mega hit Higher Love in the same night resulting in over a billion streams.
In 2020, Paqx released his first album Wetakkim, which featured the likes of Don't Know, Blank Amount, Tree and his first attempt at rapping in Lightyears.
2021 was the year of the underground hip-hop tracks Disconnected and Gold Song about losing his friend to fentanyl.
Two-thousand and twenty-two brought out the softer side of Paqx with Changing and New Morning, although he kept it real with Alive, Dearmama and a cover of Juice WRLD's All Girls Are the Same.
In 2023, Paqx produced the instrumental tracks My Song, World Journey, Good Morning, =peace and released the compilation album alive & open (a voice found).
Paqx is probably best known for his cover of Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb (recorded in November 2022), which is being used in over sixty thousand reels, has over 10,000 Shazams, and nearly half a million views on KZbin.

I was listening to a classic rock playlist on the Amazons, and this came on. I thought it was an April Fool's joke, but it was Christmas day. I feel bad for you man - like going to Karaoke night at the local bar and someone comes on with a song that sends chills down your spine - but not because it is such an awesome rendition of the song they're attempting to sing.
