Cartoon History of the Universe is probably the most famous concept to come out of the indy comix movement. Crumb may appeal to the intelligentsia, but Larry Gonick appeals to school libraries, even in other countries. I've always been a big proponent of everything ever published being easily available in perpetuity in an affordable format. Looking back, I don't understand why Marvel never kept reprinting their more famous "keys", and I mean as "Incredible Hulk #181, 12th printing", not "Incredible Hulk & Wolverine Special one-shot". In Europe, there are no keys. If there are readers, it stays in print. If it isn't in print, the audience stopped caring. This is why you can still get "Tintin in the Land of the Soviets", and a first print is only worth $36,000. There are no million dollar comics.

i've got a few issues of Modesty Blaise from Pioneer i haven't read yet, the Jim Holdaway art looks pretty cool. that Surf Crazed book looks cool, especially that cyborg surfer dude. dope Crow books. always a fun watch SG, thanks for sharing.

Glad to see you showing some Crow books again - I know that is right in your wheel house. Death Rattle dope cover - been hoping to run into that out and about in high grade.
