Comic-Con Exclusive: composer Stephen Schwartz talks Wicked, THE MOVIE!

My Entertainment World.ca editor Kelly Bedard sits down with one of the greatest composers working today (or ever) in musical theatre. The Wicked composer previews the upcoming film adaptation, discusses his biggest influences and gushes over Jeremy Jordan's rendition of "Lost in the Wilderness" from Children of Eden.

I am really happy to hear that they want to explore other characters stories for the movie. It seems in the musical that only Elphaba and Glinda's stories are explored which is great, I love both characters, but I have always wanted to see the other characters a bit more too; especially Nessarose. It would also be cool if they could add some of the lines or scenes that they scrapped and intertwine them with what they have already created. I can't wait to see the film when it is released!
