It gives the user mental attack resistance, it can change him into any alien to survive an event and any damage he sustains while in alien form doesn’t transfer over to his human form or any other alien but it can tire him out

Okay, I see why this had to happen to Ben while he was ten, as when he was 16 with the improved Omnitrix, he would be WAY too much for them to handle. But even now, he's trouble in a fight and with how reckless and impulsive he was as a kid. Yeah, they approached this entirely the wrong way if they wanted to keep things peaceful. Hawkgirl shouldn't have been so hands on with this like she had, she's lucky the Omnitrix didn't immediately add her species DNA to the watch grabbing it like that. It's done that to other species in the past after all to give Ben other forms. Like if I remember correctly...that Wolf like form Ben has, the one with the supersonic scream and everyone mistook him for a werewolf at first.

@@skull6984 omnitrix failsafe was shown in omniverse where Ben was about to due multiverse level time bomb, yet omnitrix caused him to rapidly shifts between his alien form to not only destroy bomb and heal his body. It also shown in flashback parts where Malware literally rips Ben out of Feedback in order to gain omnitrix for himself, yet it only destroyed his alien form and Ben only got tramatized from that incident which leads to point where he took of omnitrix for 5 years, since he was so attached to his transformations and especially feedback at that time. So yes, failsafe protocol was not only in Ben omniverse "official" omnitrix, but in first prototype as well.

​@@kraftik5300It wasn't in the first prototype because the villain Kevin Levin already removed the Omnitrix from Ben's wrist in one of the episodes of the classic series the ominitrix has a safety lock for this type of situation Generally the omnitrix transforms ben into an alien right for that moment but it is not proof of failures because it has already been confirmed that the omnitrix has weaknesses such as magic or hacks

Honestly, this one is on the League. in any normal circumstance, if a random person touched me without my consent I would flip out. Ben here, who is a 10-year-old kid, was lifted up by the arm by a superhero while her buddies talk about "taking care of the problem". I would start knocking heads as well. Super-powered beings ganging up on a child (shaking my head in disbelief). Not a great look.

Got to admit, while the League is probably holding back a bit with Ben being a kid, seeing 10 year old Diamondhead (from what seems to be season 1 of Classic) beating these heroes makes me wonder how they would fair against Alien Force, Ultimate Alien and Omniverse Ben. Especially when at that point, characters like Lantern and Manhunter would know of Ben’s reputation throughout the universe at those points in time.

For those who don’t know the Omnitrix that Ben wears is a level 20 tech device and that shit was just a prototype. To put that into perspective our Earth as a whole is only at level 2. If we compare Krypton the planet where Superman came from it’s about a level 4 tech planet. Level 5 is where hyperspace gates come into the mix. So that’s just to give a scale on the insanity of level 20 tech. Heck saying the lantern rings of each lantern corp is level 20 tech is an overstatement it’s more like level 18-19. Not only that but if the Omnitrix’s self destruction feature is activated it could charge up enough energy to wipe out the entire universe of ben 10. And that was the original omnitrix not the recalibrated version or the Omniverse version. We’re lucky Grandpa Max a famous plumber (Space Cop) was there for Ben to teach him the ropes and keep him in check. A weapon like that on Earth with an unchecked 10 year old Ben Tennyson would be disastrous. If anyone’s confused about the level tech stuff to give you a quick summary level tech is the levels of complexity, danger, or sophistication given to various technologies and advanced objects in the Ben 10 series. With level 20+ tech being stuff that can’t even be comprehended. In ben 10: alien force episode 12 a level 20+ tech device called the Naljian Destructor appears. It perfectly copies and merges whatever it saw into itself and uses it against Ben, Gwen, and Kevin, It even copied technology and integrated it into itself so it’s not limited to biological life. Later on we learn the Naljian Destructor is a lost children’s toy from the daughter of a higher dimensional mother who may or may not be stronger than alien X.

It's a problem with superhero teams. They are a team, but they are different people with different ideals and extra duties apart from being heroes. Aquaman is a king, Martian manhunter is... Well, a Martian, Hawk girl and wonder woman are warriors and not even human and green Lantern is... A space cop. The only one who was trying to reason with Ben and not just force him was Flash(idk if it's Barry or Wally), who also tried to calm Gwen

let's not forget that since half the league are aliens Ben can become most of the justice league too, and that with how the omnitrix handles DNA he would be the pinical of what each member could be, meaning he would at least be on par with the likes of Jon, hawkgirl, and superman if not superior to them in almost every way! the only people he'd struggle with are flash who's much to fast for Ben to handle and batman who would probably figure out some way to disarm the omnitrix in a few minutes assuming he was given the chance, and even then most of Ben's aliens would make that hard.
