Oh chromia, you have no idea how many wanted to kill Starscream. The only reason he's alive is because he was the closest to a leader the Decepticons had after Megatron. I haven't read much IDW comics, only the complete all hail megatron and last stand of the wreckers, but I have to say...I love the characterisations. They're unique with some characters and are different from other version...except Swindle.

Also, Starscream has survived because he is intelligent and cunning. And I'm about to contradict myself but he is also kind of stupid because he reveals how he wants to overthrow Megatron. But Megatron keeps him around to keep Megatron on his toes

He would appear in the city of Iacon after Specter removed him from his reality.He would be a predacon bat transformer and he would most likely be offered to join the autobots after after saving a Cybertronian from decepticon criminals trying to steal energon he would turn it down and make his own faction or work alone and pop up whenever Optimus dose need help. His goal would be to find a way back to his reality with the help of an ancient artifact of the primes created by Vector Prime the master of time and space manipulation.With the help of Optimus and Procepter who is in depth in the knowledge of the primes and there artifacs acompany( Whirlbat/Bat Man on a dangerous journey on cybertron to find Vector Primes time septer to reverse reality to the moment everything happened.Thats what I would do with Bat Man being stuck in the transfotmers universe as a transformer.
