We do! Our channel is new and we are new to video, audio and editing so we spend a lot of time watching awesome videos like this! When we are filming its almost always 3 of us, Gramp, Brooke and Dad, but we are using Movo Wireless Lav mics on 2 people and relying on a second camera's internal mic or a Boya Shotgun. Needless to say we would like to increase our audio quality but keep it simple. The charging case is probably one of the most compelling qualities of this system. Thanks for video.

Great demonstration. While the noise reduction isn't perfect, it is better than most mics I've heard from other models and brands so far.

This review was so in depth! Thank you so much. I can hear the difference next to the other mics but not noticeable enough to not buy these. I think the set of 4 will be a real life saver, I think i will get these next after having lost on of my DJI mics :(

I got my set of Vimo Q mics.....I am a slacker and haven't done my video yet....I will get to it lol Great job dude! I think the noise cancelation does a very good job with this set! For sure the best I have heard yet. I just wish they had built in memory for these mics to record straight to them! If they did that would be hands down my new microphone would use.

My question is how is it with people going to so far away they disconnect then auto reconnecting? I need them to work on an environment will people might go out of range with it still recording then be able to reconnect by itself. Do you have experience with that or could you test it? Thank you

Yes, it automatically reconnects in 99% of scenarios. But for such type of job I’d highly recommend a system with built-in recording capabilities like DJI mic or rode wireless pro

with the quad mode you can indeed get 4 tracks out. you will use the out and monitor 3.5 jacks where 2 tracks are output on each, totaling 4, A B C D. if you are using a mixer this would be perfect.

Of course rode is a better choice overall, bit of you need to record 4 speakers at the same time and the budget is tight - comica vimo q is a great solution. Don’t forget that it’s 150$ cheaper than rode)

How are you capturing the 4 separate tracks. Are you using with Adobe Audition or have the analog cable running into a mixer? You explanation at the end made it seem like it will still be stereo into camera but with 2 tracks on each channel. Is this correct? Then can you split each side in post to separate mono tracks?

There is no way to record 4 separate tracks… only 2 mics on left channel and 2 mics on the right channel

You indeed can have 4 tracks being A B C D , you switch to quad mode, you will have to have a recorder that takes 2 inputs to separate the tracks (mixer) or you put one into the camera for the 1st 2 and then the other 2 go to external recorder.

Hey) I think you’re using a wrong cable) you need a trrs to try cable (Google how it looks) + an original mini-jack to lightning adopter (3rd party adopters can have problems)

This gets my vote for the most useless piece of gear of 2024. What's the point of having four sources if your camera can only record two? Were there a separate 32 bit recorder in each you might be able to work with this. As it is, this is pure junk. This might have been great for panel discussions but as it stands t's $250 worth of uselessness. Not even close!

I disagree. In post it is usable. You can make the tracks stereo and then you have four separate audio tracks. You can do this in Davinci. You people are spoiled with technology. And recording in wireless microphone systems is a NEW thing. This is a great piece of kit that can be utilized. Think out the box dear sir.

I'm a total noob when it comes to technology and video editing, but the idea of being able to plug one of these into the headphone out jack of a soundboard, then place three separate mics around a comedy club to get audience laughs is really appealing to me if it is possible!

​@@DJBooks1Right now I'm using a Fulaim X5 System with 2 TX + 1 RX. I use a 3.5mm to 1/4" cable to plug one TX into the audio mixing board to grab my voice directly from the microphone I use on stage, and then tape the other TX at the front of the stage to capture the audience laughs.

You can set it to mono so they all record as one track, tbf most recorders don’t have more than 2 channels anyway.
