Still reading Spectacular Spider-men and Birds of Prey. I am still enjoying both titles. I think Avengers is just OK, and I love Poison Ivy, the Ultimates, Absolute Superman, and Batman.

@@justdjackson you're right, it's a fast read, the interaction between Peter and Miles is pretty funny, and the art was always on point, but I decided to focous more on other titles.

My biggest excitement from this list is that Zdarsky's run on "Batman" is finally coming to an end. Can't wait to see who takes over the book next. Hope they bring Dixon back to take over for a few years! (yes, I know that won't happen, but one has to have hopes, right?!?).Thanks for the run-down, Slayer. Was fun.

I dropped Avengers a couple of issues back. Wolverine has till the milestone issue to improve. The more I check out the indie titles you spotlight the more I find myself reading and enjoying those titles; for example Feral, Transformers, Geiger, Redcoat, and Mark Spears Monster.

I wish Two-Face did better. The premise is strong and it sets itself nicely as a potential ongoing. I could see it get a boost from having Baby Doll’s first (not really) appearance in main DC comics, but not the boost that Poison Ivy or Green Arrow got to evolve into ongoings. A shame Shazam is going to get more attention from the guest issue and its controversy than the rest of the run. I honestly feel the writing got better after Mark Waid left. It’s going to end after next issue sadly, but I’m surprised it lasted longer than expected. Spectacular Spider-Men is still pretty good. I feel the current arc is stronger and allows for more types of stories compared to the previous one. I’m glad it gets to continue beyond 12 issues.

I have been told this issue of Avengers is really good, fun fight scene and there is a hint of what's to come near the end of the book. I agree it does need direction, maybe this will give us that. The Ultimates is a really good story so far. If you pick up Poison Ivy, there are a lot of flip covers, so pick out a good one.

Avengers is very mid. Reading it on digital but it’s just really forgettable to the point where I couldn’t even tell you what happened in the last issue I read. Besides Moon Knight which is awesome I find McKays writing to be a snooz. I can’t hate it but I can’t love it either just so middle of the road.

Im giving Avengers till 25 or 26 to see its direction. I dont like Captain Marvel. The real Cap needs to be the leader . And no not fake Cap Falcon
