Kill All Immortals was fantastic from the opening page. Loved all the dialogue especially at the dinner part. Hopefully it keeps it up. X-Men was really good. I've been waiting for ages for Krakoa to end.

Robin lives! Right on. I want to read that one. I like JMD and Leonardi is OK (would have been sweet if they got Silvestri to do the art). I liked Stegman's work on "Venom", but his "X-men" work does indeed look off. Not terrible, just not up to his usual standard. I would have expected the X-men to be hiding out, but it appears the local authorities at least already know they are there. They've been acting like villains for quite a while now, so I thought they'd keep a low profile until they were able to start doing good deeds again and proving themselves once more. Rough start for McKay, but let's see if he can smooth things out in issue 2.

i think you should just pick up like issue 1-2 or 3 of a few of the new from the ashes books and just see if you like them if not fire it and never look back 😭

Looks like I need to pick up Kill all Immortals. I had it in my hand but put it back on the rack. The goriness looked appealing but just wasn’t sure 😂 This is why we love this channel.

For me Kid venom disappointed, kill all immortals had a fantastic last page, and X-men didn’t make me want issue 2- thanks for the great content!

I read X-Men, I am not a long-term reader of X-Men so do not have a lot of historical perspective, but for me, X-Men was good, not great. I liked the story, but found the art a little off, some of the battle scenes were hard to make out what was happening. Agree the 3rd and 4th generation stuff was confusing, but overall, I liked it and will read the next one.

​@user-is6cs2nu5s I missed all of Krakoa basically... came back to a bunch of crap at the end of 2023 and so on... was going to cancel it from my pull list and was told it was going to restart again. So I was holding out hope that anyone who was part of that last run is gone. The new artwork was alright... Beast looked weird though. I like Magneto (Professor M) in place of Xavier as leader of the Xmen

For me the Astonishing X-men Whedon/Cassidy run was the best restart. Great creative team most of my favourite X-men and easy to jump into.

I agree with you on Hulk Blood Hunt. It connected more with the Hulk story line than Blood Hunt. It was my top read of the week. It was so much fun.

Mike, the one book that's on my list to looking for that you talked about was the Dark Horse Kill all immortals #1... and why for me answer wise is I recently took a trip that included Iceland itself. That Robin where Jason Todd lives sounds worth checking out too!

I really liked the x-men #1. I am a new reader to the hobby and i felt so appreciative to be able to read from the start of the series. For me i was able to follow all the plot lines and although there a quite a few, i felt like they did a great job or portraying them. For me having limited x-perience in x-men art i found it to be absolutely stunning. The crisp clean lines and vibrant colors really worked for me and everyone looked badass. I found it worthy. I did not like Domain. I was super excited to read it after hearing the premise of the story (a power suit that only 1 person can activate at time thus causing conflict because the power cannot be used at the same time). However the writing felt really dorky. It didn't seem me on the realism of the story and seemed kinda gimmicky. I will say the art was fantastic though. I found it unworthy.

Mike, you missed what The Domain is. I dont think its continuing. The ongoing series is Public Domain, about a comicbook writer. The Domain is the comicbook that the fictional author supposedly wrote. It's meta. Later edit: it is ongoing, well it's 5 issues. But it's really aimed at those reading Public Domain.

Do you understand what it is? I don't think they have done a good job letting us know. It's a comic from inside the universe of the comic The Public Domain. It's written by the imaginary character from the main series. Well, of course, it's actually written by zdarsky, writing as if he is the fictional writer he created in The Public Domain
