JK Simmons is indeed the best man to be Jameson, but so was Ed Asner. Before JK Simmons came along, I always heard Asner’s voice as Jameson whenever I read the comics or fanfiction. But now it’s impossible to choose one or the other.

was a great move bringing Simmons back as J Jonah, but it really does highlight how generally inferior the dialogue is the MCU Spider-Man films vs the Raimi films. J Jonah is at his peak in the Raimi trilogy - dialogue is excellent and so are his interactions with Hoffman and Ms Brant. the new scenes in No Way Home feel like they miss the mark a little, as brilliant as it is to see Simmons back
