Great video. I would add Peter Parker the Spectacular Spiderman #1. It astonishes me that that series, and especially #1, isn't more expensive, given Spidey's huge popularity. You can get a beautiful raw copy for $50, and a 9.6 for just a couple of hundred.

I got a CGC 9.0 last year for $40. I couldn't believe how cheap it was. It was a new listing and I bought it immediately.

@@oldmanonyoutube Great pick-up! A 9.0 for any Bronze Age book is worth it, but for a #1 of a Spidey title? That's more than a bargain.

That's actually a good idea for a set of videos any time you do a top 10 to invest in, follow it up with a top 10 affordable issues to invest in. Love to see Batman and Spawn(some rare variants and low prints) for these. I'm sure there are millions of Batman issues out there that are super undervalued right now.

Great video. In 1985, my parents took me to Eide's comics in downtown Pittsburgh for my birthday and my 1st "collector" comic. I wanted Spider-man. Keep in mind this was '85. The clerk actually let young me look through the expensive stuff. I settled on an ASM #10 in what would probably be a 9.4 today for 55.00. The kicker though, was they tried to sell me an Amazing Fantasy 15. It was coverless but replaced with a Xerox cover. They wanted TWENTY SEVEN DOLLARS for it, but since it was coverless I said no. My biggest regret in the hobby, ever. Ever!!!

Just starting watching your channel 2 days ago...I really liked this video some really good choices...you missed a few things about ASM 50...the iconic cover and story and also its Spidey's origin retold...origins have been very underrated until recently in my opinion...also love the stock comparision Dave...one book I would have put in there would have been 1st apperance of Madame Web or even Jubilee very undervalued in my opinion

Solid choices! How do you feel about rare variants like the original MJ venom variant (678 I think)? Or the Venom all black error cover? I don't know what recent sales are but I love that MJ cover.

ASM 39 at 8.0 hit 1100 last month as a 8.5 hit 2k so that 8.0 is a bargain at 1100!! Another pick of mine is ASM 51 kingpin first cover. Spider-Man 31 first Gwen Stacy still mid grades are a bargain as it will easily double still and a price of 600-700 still time to get in. Why is it still undervalued I SMH at that one two huge first appearances and still a bargain to get at.. My last pic is 136 first Harry Osborn green goblin a book that’s truly over looked and at a high grade 9.0 and over still can get for 400.. Good stuff David

My #101 just came back from CGC as a 7.0 but since I paid half for the raw you could say I've had a 100% return in six months (but that's not real until I sell of course). Yet to see what my #194 comes back as... or #238. As for the others looking for them 😀

I appreciate that we’re all obsessed with keys, but if you ever see a 9.8 under 150 or a 9.6 under 100, those are also very sound choices under $1000 and may prove to be far, far more lucrative down the road.

Very solid advice. In any collectable hobby, it's condition, condition, condition. For investment, buying ASM in the highest grade possible is an excellent choice.
