I also was won over in TFATWS when it comes to Sam being cap. In endgame I much preferred Bucky becoming cap instead of Sam but now I realise that Bucky is too much of a risk. And also having Sam carry the shield allows for some super cool action with how Sam can use the shield. Plus Sam is a black man which was a very compelling and real world issue to address plus Sam is WAY more of a Steve Rogers, interms of his moral compass etc
