I think MCU is pretty much a live version of the classic comics,where all sorts of superhuman beings,deities, etc exist next to humanity.Magical and outrageous things are a daily occurence there. Whereas in the Sony and Raimi spiderverse,I always got the impression that they were more like a 'what if people in the real world occasionally develop super powers' type deal.In their worlds I think having those kinds of powers is so rare,that there aren't enough of them to form many teams (villians or heros). Notice how most superhumans in Sony/Raimi verse are science experiments or technology gone wrong.In other words a more realistic version of what could create a superhero or villain in real life. Whereas MCU has Space tyrants wearing cosmic gloves and wiping out half of humanity,or sorcerors opening portals to alternate dimensions. Or literal gods like Thor being part of hero teams etc. Notice how shocked Raimi and Sony Spidey was to find out that magic existed in the MCU.Something like that must be completely foreign to them

Legends return. Tobey Maguire, Willem Dafoe, and Alfred Molina as well as the rest of the cast gave stellar performances for sure, but it was the redemption of Andrew Garfield's spiderman that really sold the movie for me. I loved those movies and seeing the three Spidermen meet each other and work together as well as the Matt Murdock cameo is a real Christmas miracle. Spiderman no way home is a cinematic masterpiece for me.

His trilogy ended with all subplots wrapped up and in No Way Home it was mentioned that he and M.J. managed to stay together and make things work after we saw them begin to reconcile at the end of Spider-Man 3. While I would LOVE to see his story continue in more movies, it's not like we were left hanging with his version of the character. I would welcome a Spider-Man 4 with HUGE open arms, but it isn't absolutely necessary. TASM 3 makes more sense to do, but I don't like that iteration of Spider-Man...so I personally don't wanna see it. I am content to let that version be. Unless they hire somebody else to direct and write it.

I like to think that to perserve the efforts of the 3 Spider-Man curing and depowering the supervillains, Dr Strange altered the return spell so that when everyone returns to their respective universe, they are also sent to the same timeframe corresponding to whenever their respective Spider-Man came from. Meaning that if the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man that appeared in No Way Home was 5 years after Spider-Man 3, his 3 villains would come with him to that time instead of like during Spider-Man 1 to 3. And if Andrew Garfield Spider-Man came from like 2 years after Amazing Spider-Man 2, Lizard and Electro would also be returning with him then rather than during Amazing Spider-Man 1 and Amazing Spider-Man 2 respectively.

I think what actually happened is it created 5 new branch universes where each villain was cured, and at least partially reformed. And I'd prefer an alternative version of the Tobey we see in NWH got to have a reality where Norman is prosecuted for his crimes and he and Harry remain good friends. And Aunt May and Peter take Harry in as emotional support and he begins reforming his father's business into one of charity rather than destruction, and Osborn industries becomes that universes F.E.A.S.T.

In the movie after Strange messed up the spell he explained to Peter what happened. Then Strange says that everybody that knows Peter Parker is Spider-Man is coming to their universe. I know that goblin, doc Ock, lizard, sandman, and electro know who he is but venom doesn’t. The Tom hardy venom didn’t even know that Peter Parker or Spider-Man was a person until he was brought to the MCU. He even says in the post credit scene, “maybe I should go to New York and talk to this Spider-Man.” So if he doesn’t know who Spider-Man is why is he there?

I feel like it was Andrew's universe that may end up getting the Miles Morales. They kind hint it when Electro mentioned it could be a black Spiderman out there and Andrew just smile. Plus, we know that Hardy's Venom take place in the same universe as Andrew. Idk, maybe after the success of NWH, Sony might finally make The Amazing Spiderman 3. I mean seriously, Andrew deserve his third movie. From his version of MJ, Felicia become Black Cat, the Sinister Six and Hardy's Venom - there a lot of potential to be explore in Andrew's universe...not to mentioned, Spidergwen. Correction: Get Sam Rami back for Spider-Man 4 and let him have total freedom over it. The reason why Spider-Man 3 didn't live up to its potential is because Sony kept interfereing and forcing Rami to put Venom in the film, a character he wasn't totally confortable with using. Sony also kept moving the date up for Spider-Man 4 completion, which was last straw for Rami, leading to its cancelation.

I really thought Peter was gonna meet Harry Osborn at the end of the film since he lost all his friends. That way he could finally be established in the MCU and that would finally fix the question as to why Tom’s Spider-Man is the only one without a Harry Osborn. But they didn’t introduce him so I guess he’s gonna come in later. But I just find it weird how neither of the Spider-Men actually mentioned Harry’s name seeing as they talked about everything else. I mean it’s not they DIDN’T bring him up when creating this film since they pretty much almost established everything from the other films. I trust Marvel and hope they know what they’re doing.

Tobey told Ned about Harry. That's why Ned got paranoid that Tom-Peter might kill him someday. There's no Oscorp in MCU, so it just drastically changes things. Tony stark is the big name in advancement. But since he's gone now Oscorp has a chance. The "O's" actually stand for Osborne and Octavius though so they'd have to commit to wanting to bring in multiple old characters. I don't think it'd be the best move, but they did pretty much reboot the series by the end, so who knows.

I actually think the final fight between Tom Hollands Spiderman and Mcquires Green goblin might have been symbolic in more ways then the surface appearance. Holland ended up beating the shit out of Goblin and almost killed him for murdering Aunt May. I think something similar happened with the Andrew Garfield Spiderman and his Green Goblin (harry osborn) Andrew talks about giving into rage and not pulling his punches when Gwen Stacey died. Unlike Hollands fight I think Garfield might have actually beat Harry Osborn (Goblin) so savagely for killing Gwen,that he actually killed him. Also notice how MCU M.J almost died in a similar manner,where Goblin tried to prevent Peter from saving her

Spider-Man: No Way Home is the stepping stone to make the impossible become possible, with the Spider-Man crossover was a dream come true it’s definitely positive that both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will share the spotlight to have more Spider-Man movies and deserve second chances. We need Spider-Man 4 to have Tobey come back and feature more villains in his universe like Vulture as the main villain, Black Cat, his universe’s mysterio and The lizard. As for Andrew he also deserves the long overdue and he is the more darker version of the character we need the Amazing Spider-Man 3 too showing other villains they teased to appear and he mentioned that he just stopped holding back and was more angry and aggressive it would be interesting to see just how it happened but after saving MJ redeeming himself and connecting to his fellow Spider-Men he’ll finally become the hero he was destined to be

Nah nothing timeline wise has really changed (from what I interpeted) for Tobey outside of sandman. Just because he's there doesn't mean he was picked up from SM3. He never died so it can be at any point in that world future. Probably the same day as Toby was grabbed, at a time where his mutation condition had worsened (which could be why he's made of sand without much human form, which call me crazy but when I hear sandman I lowkey expect a man made of sand) Id imagine Norman was sent back right to the point of him being hit with the glider. In the 2001 film I believe its when he says "Oh" is the point in which he came back, with the realization that "oh yeah, this happened". And ock was put back right when the sun fell upon him. Not giving enough time for a branch to hit a nexus point. Andrew's timeliness however has branched all over the place. Just an opinion based on this video, (Trying real hard not to spoil)... What I would love to believe that might have happened is: 1. Norman, Otto, Flint went back with their Peter in their universe at the point of time when Peter 2 was dragged into Peter 1's universe. Basically saying that the main timeline (current/ present) at the same point where Tobey's Peter went back in. Let's say Raimi Universe in the year 2023, the point in time where every event in the Raimi Trilogy already happened years ago. The villains will come back in their respective universe but would be entirely new for them. Norman learning that his son is dead, Otto completing his Power of the Sun project, and Flint reuniting with his daughter. So no past will be screwed as they're all in their present timeline. 2. The same thing for Peter 3's villains, so there will be two Dr. Connors existing in the same period of time (One living in a prison "the main Lizard", the other will be hiding for his life "the one who went to mcu"). Electro finally celebrating his birthday as a normal human but on a run for the crimes he committed because this is still the point of time where their world believed that Electro died by a magnet. He cannot turn himself in because the world would think that resurrection is possible once he is captured and identified. But ofc Peter 3 will help them out, they're all friends afterall. I'm just saying this so I wouldn't confuse myself that they went back to change their fate or the past. I like to believe they went to their universe's present timeline eventually setting the story for the continuation of their movies. 💟💟
