It’s hard to believe The Boys season 2 is over already! It seems like we were just getting started with things like Butcher ramming a whale with a boat and now we’re at the end and Victoria Neuman is popping heads left and right! The point is, the world of the Boys is such a big place and so much stuff happens, that it’s sometimes hard to keep track of everything and everyone.
But that’s what we’re here for! Today’s video is all about the supes in the Boys and breaking down everyone’s powers, abilities and weaknesses. Like obviously there’s the big guns like Black Noir with his pain tolerance/ability paired with his crippling tree nut allergy, or Homelander with his god-like powers coupled with a few deep insecurities, but this video will also break down all the other supes we’ve seen on the show that aren’t just in the Seven, like Mesmer with his mind reading abilities and Doppelganger with his powers of shapeshifting! Every main supe will be on this list!

I don't think Stormfront can resist to Homelander's laser eyes. I think Homelander can regulate their strength, so that's why he just burnt her. And it's pretty obvious because we see his lasers cut people and planes in half, but also only heating the small milk bottle.

I liked seeing Homelander slowly realise that while he reigns supreme over humans, there are defintely supes who could take him out under the right circumtances. He has rarely ever had to test his powers or had to fight to survive. Put him up against Soldier Boy or a suped up Butcher and fighting ability starts to play a part.

I very seriously doubt that she will come back in any meaningful way. We've seen that she can regenerate, but do not have evidence that this happens very quickly. If it did, we would see her immediately start to heal from the kid's attack on her. Instead, we see no evidence of even her burns _beginning_ to heal at the end of season 2. Also, even if she did come back, we last saw her babbling German nonsense, indicating some major permanent brain damage.

Doppelganger is not dead. Shape shifter 101 says that when a shape shifter dies they revert to their original form. Since he didn't do that after Homelander "killed" him, he is still alive. He probably faked his death to get out from under Homelander's thumb.

I think it’s interesting that the baby has blue laser eyes instead of red. Homelander and by extension Ryan have red and the color is probably effected by the way their eyes create the laser. Lets say they work like Star Wars blasters where the energetic potency of the gas being compressed effects the power and color of the blast with yellowish orange being the weakest and green being the strongest. I wonder if they’re going for something similar which eludes to that baby having stronger powers than both homelander and Ryan

A-Train apparently also has the super ability of suppressing noise. He is seemingly somehow able to move faster than the speed of sound, yet we never hear a sonic boom and also, despite the absolute clatter his footsteps would make when he is running through a room fast enough that you can't see him, somehow no one ever hears him either. Also, Translucent's power doesn't add up. If it is just his skin that turns into a carbon meta-material that bends light then shouldn't we still be able to see all of his hair (on his head and his body), the front of his eyes (unless he constantly keeps his eyes closed), his teeth and tongue and the inside of his mouth whenever he opens it, and even his finger and toe nails floating around?

If I had to guess, I'd say it's probably all the organic material somehow... just because of the fact that he had to take off his clothes. If you think about it, none of their powers add up. Stormfront has power over plasma. It still doesn't make complete sense, but it's not just electricity that stormfront uses: Plasmas are able to conduct electricity readily, because of the abundance of free electrons, but electricity itself is not a plasma. Plasma is a state of matter that is of sufficiently high energy that the electrons are no longer tightly bound to the atom the way that they are in a solid, liquid, or gas, but are instead free flowing throughout the system. When we talk about electricity, I assume you mean what we draw from outlets in walls to power various devices by creating an electric current. So it might be easier just to imagine stormfront is shooting fire... High amounts of destructive energy. Similarly, starlight couldn't start a car, while nearly everything around us has some electricity - at least Goku was thaught to use the spirit bomb on this principle xD
