Good for you not taking on that publisher! I absolutely hate filler stories, having plots that aren't needed. They do it way too much to anime and just made me grow to hate it. It's called milking the cow. What you've encountered is probably one of the reasons why people self publish. Thank you for showing and sharing your adventure at the con! :) I am glad that you had fun! I have not seen Rescue Rangers but watching Anna's reaction to it said enough! How funny!
