∙ Most of Simon’s constructs are vehicle-based weapons, from his love of cars.
∙ Simon would eventually be gifted Emerald Vision, which is a very powerful ability that is still not fully understood.
∙ He joined the JLA to clear his criminal record.
∙ Simon eventually gave up carrying a firearm with him, thank to the help of Batman.

NO WAY?! diversity without replacing older characters?! jokes aside i like his story, their is more to him than his race or religion. it was only a backdrop because it was a major part that effected his life but not the only one. and for the people saying "how about people of the same race write the story", geoff johns is half Lebanese.
