I believe that Guy would be the perfect Lantern to bring back the Blue Lantern Corps after the fall of Saint Walker. He never gives up hope, always striving even in the face of certain death, like in Dark Knights Metal when he and Jo were about to take on a massive army without any known back up. He just stood steadfast and was ready to hold is own. Yes, he has an incredible amount of Willpower, but Guy as a Blue Lantern would be great IMO.

The Guy Gardner comic run was so much fun, with Lobo and Sinestro, and his Vuldarian heritage (I think that was it). I loved his run in JLI and his relationship with Ice was a beautiful thing. He was a likeable dickhead. I loved the Batman one punch too, and the fact he woke up with a new personality.

Guy has always been one of my favorites. He's like the Dusty Rhodes of the Green Lantern Corps. He was more of a true representation of the average man . I've always thought he was one of the best of the GLC . Unlike Hale , Guy never broke under the pressure. He's bent a few times but never really broke.

The Blue ring was during the Future State event, but yeah, only rings he hasn't worn are Orange, Indigo, Black, and White. Third most for a character I believe behind only Kyle and Hal.

First time seeing Guy in action was Batman Brave and the Bold. Didn't know too much about him and was kinda confused at the time, since I'd mainly grown up with John Stewart thanks to Justice League, but he proved to be a fun and entertaining character, especially in the Blue Beetle comics where he showed up as a supporting character for Jaime.

They did a one shot , I want to say the Future End series, where Guy ends up as a Blue Lantern. He is able to form constructs without having the corresponding green. Guy, after going through almost every ring, realizes that all of the rings are partially fueled by hope\belief.

Guy didn’t ditch the green lantern corps. He bet Hal Jordan in a fist fight who ever loses quits the GLC. Of course Hal Jordan beat him in a fist fight. And force Gardner to quit. During the fight, blue beetle referenced the Batman one punch when Hal punched guy and he fell to the floor repeatedly. Later Gardner ends up getting a yellow ring stealing it from a sinistro corpse. But you know comics somehow sinistro isn’t dead.

Something I just realized, where did the Earth Lanterns get all of their rings? We know about Alan Scott, Jordan, and Kyle Rayner but I do not know how the rest gets theirs. The interesting thing of Gardner wielding a yellow ring is that the ring was Sinestro's first yellow ring. I want to say the writers mention that the reason for the over aggression is Sinestro, through the ring, was influencing Gardner. Guy has also done a blue ring in a one shot future based comic. During the War of the Lanterns, Guy dual wielded red and violet since the Green Lanterns were being controlled. Probably one of the best things about Gardner is his connection with the other Earth Lanterns namely Hal Jordan, Kyle Rayner, and John Stewart. To me, those four were like the Musketeers.

Some things to mention: - Gardner discovered the secret of Sinestro's ring when he wore it: It is charged by contact with the energy from a green lantern ring. So when fighting Green Lanterns his ring will always be charged. - Booster Gold made sure that Hal was chosen as Green Lantern rather than Guy. Originally, Guy was chosen over Hal because he was closer, but Booster (who monitors the timeline) discovers that Guy was the wrong person to be Green Lantern due to how events would play out with him as Green Lantern. Due that, Booster travels to the Past and meets Guy in a Diner before Abin Sur's ship crashed. He convinces Guy to visit his dying father in Baltimore, thus Hal was closer and was closen to be Green Lantern. - The Oan Green Lantern Rings provide complete life support. While wearing a charged ring you don't have to eat, drink, sleep, and it also takes care of bodily functions.

Red lantern Guy gardner is an excellent power boost for this Green lantern member, somehow when he was trying avenge his fellow comrade member Kyle rayner somehow a Red lantern appears out of nowhere and now he's able to control Rage and Willpower in one of the comics🦹🦹‍♂️.

One of my favorite Guy Gardner stories is that JLI story where, in an alternate universe, Hal Jordan told him that he (Guy) only became Green Lantern in Hal's place and then Guy fought the enemy of that arc to restore the true course of time. I thought that moment to be the inspiration to Hal Jordan's mad drive to restore things to what they were before Mongul destroyed Coast City.
