I LOVE the casual fantastic idea of inventing a Venom Noir that they do here; For if there is a spider God, there must also be a Spider Devil, who corrupts the spider swarm and sends them off to hunt for prey in the dark corners of the city, prey in the form of a suicidal Eddie Brock, who after being caught stealing food by Spider-man, goes to the church to confess his sins and is corrupted by the swarm of spiders in the church belfry and becomes Venom!!

Noir Venom would hate Parker because he was the chosen avatar but he has the no kill rule. The spider god clearly just kills those it deems unjust, so Peter not being down for killing 100's to 1,000's of people would cause a bit of dissonance between them

Nice! I've been looking forward to _Spider-Man Noir_ (Luke Cage too)! I've only read three Noir titles: Wolverine, X-Men, and Punisher. Wolverine was extremely well done and I strongly recommend it, Punisher was disappointing and I can't recommend it, X-Men was so bad I couldn't even finish it. Ghost Rider Noir sounds like it would be a lot of fun!
