If Mark Waid sees this then I just want to say THANK YOU! This interview is so great. Your words really inspired me today and I'm motivated like I haven't been in a long while. Your work pretty much got me to fall in love with these heroes. Superman especially. I can read your work over and over and have been for around 15 years. I hope I get to say thanks in person someday at a con or something. PS: I REMEMBER IMPACT COMICS! Archie was big in when I was growing up in a small town in India and my library had Shield. I had no idea you were involved in it!! That's amazing!! Also the Archie reboot was awesome! I loved it!

Mark Waid: the greatest writer...EVER. I think I passed out from my own excitement for a sec. I have loved everything this man has written from the Flash, to Kingdom Come, to Fantastic four and Captain America. His Superman stuff is LEGENDARY, except perhaps his Birthright books. Man of Steel was a cut above as far as Superman origins go.
