The other day myself & my nerd friends got on the idea of pitching the Absolute Trinity. Not trying to decipher what is being done but how we would do Absolute "You get a costume & the inherent goodness of their soul. Go pitch." Superman was the hardest for everyone & Batman was the most varied. No one did a Batman Who Lifts but Scott in this interview saying "he's not part of the system he's a disruptor." was in everyone's Batman pitch despite the varied focal points. So based on that & that alone I can confirm Scott is on the right wavelength with this book.

I really wish I could get this level of promotion and conversation from Marvel. I know little to nothing about the intent or aspirations of the creators from anything in Marvel. With this new DC push, it feels like a true celebration and invitation to DC.

I'd dropped off picking up comics for a little over a year when a co-worker of mine came into my cubicle to show me how "ridiculous" the new Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman designs were. I even said I doubted those would be their prime universe designs, but he insisted they were. After doing some research when I got home I found out about the whole Absolute Universe/All-in initiative and now I'm catching up on my favorite DC characters. Just goes to show that even bad word of mouth is still word of mouth.

If anyone here hasn’t listened to it, check out his first time on Kevin Smith’s Fat Man on Batman (the original podcast-only version, not the KZbin show) titled *Scott Snyder: Of Cowls and Owls.* It’s excellent and hilarious. It's interesting that what the younger generation thinks of what makes Batman cool and not cool. The whole him being rich and him being Sherlock Homles and James Bond of superheroes is now what makes him, the poor man's Iron Man in Gen Z eyes.

With the amount of times the ominverse is in danger I would like to see a smaller scale type of hero stories. Mat hatter has one girl kidnaped that is bad that girl might die. It does't need to be an entire city in danger Hatter wanting to make allice his wife is bad enough 1 is to many. Same for superman tone stuff down Superman has to save one person
