Wow, you're a big shot, interviewing Scott, that's insane!!! 😯
@ComicBookMuscle4 ай бұрын
She is. But it’s smart for Scott to do more PR to generate some POSITIVE interest to the comic book reading audience. I know he might not consider it, but he should look to do Comics By Perch and Wes’ Thinking Critical too. Kaare Andrews did despite some disliking his Spider-Man Reign take and it endeared more people to his work. So if you’re reading Mr. Snyder this is my suggestion. Cheers.

@@ComicBookMuscle Wes’ Thinking Critical is comisgate scum. why would she interview someone like him ?
@NeedAVacay-y5u4 ай бұрын
You'd be surprised how little recognition and how little comic book writers and artists get asked to do things. Comicpop is a channel half this size and interviews Joshua Williamson's and others regularly.
@akkakkakekkn4 ай бұрын
@@ComicBookMuscle lol Scott Snyder does interviews with KZbin channels all the time. He does it more than alot of other comic creators. He did like 4 interviews for Comicstorian back during DC death metal and an interview with comictropes when he went indie. And multiple interviews with comicpop. He's one of the most exposed and accessible creators with like 200k followers on twitter. Why would he do interviews with small channels like the ones you listed?
@akkakkakekkn4 ай бұрын
@@ComicBookMuscle Lmao why would he do an interview with Thinking critical? A channel that regularly shits on his work and the work of his friends as well as the entire comics industry. A channel that so obviously has a right wing bias and is comicsgate adjacent. No big comic creator other than one has done interviews with that channel and its obvious why. There's a reason why channels like Comicpop, near mint condition, and Sasha get interviews with these big creators and its because they're not fucking toxic or hate filled. Also those channels you mentioned are small. What would be the incentive to do interviews with small channels instead of ones like this or even legitimate news outlets.

I absolutely adored this interview. At first, I was cautiously optimistic about this new take on Batman (I just wasn't sure how much of the billionaire background you can remove from the character for it to still be Batman, loved the new logo though), but now after listening to this, I just can't wait for this to come out. Thank you so much for that!

Okay Scott Synder is so so down to Earth in just the first five minutes of the interview. Makes me way more excited to go in to DC Absolute Batman than any marketing for DC has. 5:15 I really like this insider take on an iniative vs event. Even as someone who didn't like the new 52 this helps explain it a lot more. It makes more sense from the angle of DC trying to redefine and present itself as a comic publisher (vs me just seeing it as a mostly failed reboot). It had problems and consequences but considering the time and how confusing DC comics had become for outsiders, it makes sense why they would try it.

That interview with Scott Synder gave me hope and faith in DC again!!! I've seen a lot of negative commentary online about them recently, which is sad to see because I know the same people that run their mouths still buy from and support the company. If you support someone or something, you have to stick with them through the thick and thin. That's loyalty. Not cry like a baby and complain when things don't go your way. Life will always be filled with ups and downs. Glad Scott is a part of making that company what it is. He appears to be a genuine heartfelt individual that cares. In all sincerity, it's guys like him that keep the ship running so we all can enjoy the fruits of their labors. Like how he made it clear that this is a perfect jumping on point for new and old fans alike. Thanks for making the video! I'm all in.

If you don’t voice your concerns with the state of comic books or any other product then nothing will ever have a chance of changing. If you’re unhappy with a direction you absolutely should make it known. Both vocally and financially by not purchasing any more. You can’t blindly accept and purchase books “because you love the company” the company doesn’t give two shits about you. If they did tini Howard wouldn’t continue to get books. Or Steve fox or numerous other creators.

Bruce looks better with the hair too. But seriously, this Batman makes sense to me in that it has to be different. Love the classic Bruce but who needs the same guy again? The Alfred angle is very interesting too. Almost him learning from Bruce. Different again. Not sold until I read it but I'm definitely feeling it more now.
