Power Puff Girls was kinda the first visceral cartoon I ever watched as kid, which was just for some reason a concept I couldn't get my head around. I was already watching Dragon Ball and Trigun by the time P.P.G. aired, but yeah that was the first time I saw cartoons can be extream, now to see them in a comic that is going to be insane

Hey BJ Kicks! Have you heard about the comic book that's coming out from rap producer Metro Boomin? I know you talked about Kid Cudi's moon man book before and was curious your thoughts. Im excited for it cuz it has Jack Kirby vibes but also gives me Static Shock vibes

Yeah, Marvel does, unfortunately, have a tiresome habit of flooding the market with way too many books. It's why I fell off the X-MEN during the Krakoa stuff. You only really need 2 main ones and then a mini-series of various characters throughout the year. Looking forward to the Uncanny X-men team with Wolverine, Gambit, Rogue, Nightcrawler and Jubilee.

Yeah i tried reading the new house xmen, and it was ok, but when they did Krakoa, I went back and just read the entire xmen from 60s to 90s and prefer the claremont era of x books. Starting with 2000s, its all downhill. I still plan to try out the new smen and uncanny xmen, but it still feels off

the Popeye one has great art, but the lettering is terrible, First time I didn't read a comicbook due to the lettering being awful.
