Well Gama and Cosmic are opposites in marvel comics... Though why the hell Galactus thought it was a good idea to have the avatar of TOBA as a herald is beyond me, he can literaly kill him if things progess far enough and Galactus cannot kill him.

This would be the second time Hulk became a Herald of Galactus, see What if WWH for that, and that an all-powerful Cosmic Hulk would completely decimate three Avengers. And that’s what makes it a little bit more cynical on Tony Stark's part is that this guy would never change on his personality no matter what alternate reality is.

Because, that's no longer the "current" case. During the period shortly after the reboot of the multiverse after Doom's Secret Wars (2015), when Galactus was transformed into the Lifebringer it didn't turn into a problem. They explained that the new multiverse was still cooking and that even the cosmic entities themselves were not fleshed out yet, and could potentially become different things. If Abraxas was going to be a problem, it would've been then. Abraxas stopped being a problem because it was only a problem in the last multiverse. Unless someone reintroduces the character, it has been effectively written out.

I think the cracks in the Hulk's new suit just go to show us that his Gamma powers are actually stronger than those bestowed upon him by Galactus and thus why there's constantly cracks in it, but only when he Hulks out, not when he is just in Banner from.

I like that Hulk became Galactus’ herald, resulting in him saving people of Kree and fighting the Avengers before the Avengers realized what Hulk was doing and that Hulk is going to find Galactus. Overall, this comic is good.

That was an amazing story. I want one to fully flesh out Galactus so he's just not a litmus test used to show how powerful someone is now. He is the power cosmic and we've seen him devour even the dark dimension. He is a powerhouse and needs to stop being used in that way. I hope that this writer gets assigned to revamp Galactus and elevate him to a more rightful status as the truely inevitable being he is as the form of slow death in the multiverse.

That Herald design is such a cool concept Clean and whole Silver Shell when not Hulked out then cracked and broken up when Hulked out Gotta give them big points for that It's creative. And it fits so well Any other time you make a character into a Herald of Galactus they'd probably just give him some new shiny Coating or Attire and be done with it And it might even look really cool. But it's usually no more than that They took an extra step with it here tho. To properly convey who he is with his design

Sounds like a pretty cool story. I like how the Hulk so easily over powers all of them. I hate when writers de-power characters just to stretch the story, which he didn't do. A sequel would be cool, Galactus Vs Hulk, but I doubt we'll see it.

Not the best Hulk story I've seen, but I appreciate the different universe and alternate character arcs. Those "What Ifs...?" tingle my brain, so even if were the worst story, I would still enjoy it. It's the same reason the Illuminati sent Hulk away in the ship and it's the same mistake Tony made with a group. It creates the lesson that you can't cast off the Hulk. You can't just throw the Hulk away and not expect him to come back. It's like the Hulk is a giant green boomerang and those who throw him have to be ready to catch him when he comes back around (I understand that the ship in planet hulk was blown up by a member of Hulk's warbound but still). Only thing about this moment in the Herald story is that it's an alternate path of casting away the Hulk but the outcome is slightly better since there were different stakes, where in planet hulk Tony and the Illuminati sent Hulk away just because he was unpredictable, in the herald story they let Galactus have Hulk because he was unpredictable and they sort of had a way of taming him via Galactus. Neither of those things work out in either story but the Herald story is the better outcome of making the mistake of casting away the Hulk and letting him be someone else's problem.

Not bad. Matt got some interesting twists & turns that opens up new story arcs. He might be refreshing for some long time Marvel characters to have his injection of creativity. Now, if these series don't continue, I'd like to see Matt used on Marvel characters that readers started to love but Marvel sidelined them into limbo. I tended to enjoy Scout (Laura 'Wolverine's younger) as new clone/sister) who brought familiarity but tenacious, ferocity & lovability to Wolverette youngster, that doesn't apply all the old hangups/story arcs and baggage that Logan has been dragging around and Laura is starting to accumulate. She can be fun, wild, nasty yet fun loving, relatable to younger readers. Could we see Scout having a Parker moment deciding dating Normie of Avenger's Academy or idolizing Franklin Richards. Young puppy/teen angst.... Or vetting her anger at Val Richards and the Grimm kids. Wotta tussel of young energy.

okay so this is interesting, but also kinda off. Hulk is the Avatar of the one below all, meaning his purpose is to basically be a vent for something that's the equivalent of the angry side of Marvel's reality. Why would the one below all let his very effective vent be used by a world hyena? Bet in normal continuity, Galactus would be turned into a toothpick, and hulk sent to eat the emerging celestials...for funzies. Still an interesting story though.

This issue is not bad. My only issue with it the way the comic ended. I mean Galactus is on the level of cosmic entity and Celestials. What can the Hulk really do to? Galactus is a force of nature. Nobody below a god or cosmic entity should be able to touch him. Rob, I think you should do a new video on the hierarchy of powers again to remind people.

I think the cracks in the skin....or shell.....are meant to represent that the Hulk is just too much to be held in....also the shell seems to cover his Banner form so it's like he gets bigger and busts the "seams" of his shell. It's like the Hulk's old purple britches from back in the day.....they were always ripped up to show how violent his transformations can be. The Silver Smasher???....just takes that irrepressible feature to the next level. The story sort of has the same message... no one controls The Hulk because HULK IS STRONGEST THERE IS!!! 😂
