I used to read Comics along time ago when I was a little kid all up to late teens and life took over and haven't read any much since. SO i really appreciate finding this channel and it filling in the back story of some important story lines in marvel that i haven't read in years. There is a “What If” comic where the Silver Surfer gets the Quantum Bands. He essentially cures the universe of Galactus by being able to feed him energy anytime he needs it. They become BFFs and ride off into the sunset together.

(two months later but I hope you're still curious haha) they're of similar origin--created by the same being, Eon (I believe), however, they draw their powers from different sources. Mar-vell's bands from the nega zone and Quasar's bands from the quantum zone.

Hello CE. Long story short, I used to be an avid reader of Marvel Comics back in the early and mid 80's, I remember reading the first Secret Wars. My favorites were Spidey, FF and my all time favorite, The Incredible Hulk..... Anyways, with all these Marvel movies coming out, it's like a dream come true. To actually be able to see on-screen something I thought would never be possible in my lifetime is truly a gift. But, as I said, I stopped following some time ago. I've seen all of the recent movies but I want to dive into the comic version of the Infinity Wars.......is this the correct place to start? Or is there another vein somewhere else I need to look at?

In the comments below it seems that they think this is : "Short Change Hero" by "The Heavy" . I personally think this is "Life at the Skatepark" by "Hindsight". They both have a similar underlying tune however note the intro to "Life at the Skatepark" and you will notice it matches the intro voices at the beginning of this video.
