I would love to see a full on comicstorian run about spidey 2099 he's really my favorite spider-man its just that ive been with the original for a long time and we all know how great and relatable he is he really thinks about things but spider-man 2099 is impulsive sometimes even careless and thats more relatable to me and people love different takes on spidey because we really know who peter is and what he's like and his suit design is really cool just wish it was black and red instead of blue and red and his web cape and talons are just as peter would say amazing!

I believe that his original costume was supposed to black but they did not have good enough drawing tools so it looked blue.

fun fact: the 2099 suit actually is black and the blue is light reflection. The actual drawing highlights the light too much (so much so that even video games and other media he's in thought it was blue) but it is black and red

I also think he would make a FANTASTIC spiderman movie set in a different universe. It could be a Marvel Sci-Fi, "Blade Runner" style, Evil MegaCorp, dystopian future movie.

Spider-Man 2099 is terrific. He’s the original mixed race Spider-Man, having both Irish & Latino heritage. Miguel O’Hara! It’s a bit annoying how Miles Morales gets more media attention likely since he looks more ethnic. Odd how there’s significantly more Hispanic Americans over African Americans but the African American side gets more representation & attention. In this case it’s a sign of the time these characters appeared, 2099 Spidey was the 90’s & there was less push for inclusion. Miguel just came about organically..in the far future, mixed race people likely to be more the norm than in the 1990’s. Miles was basically created to rekindle that youthful Spidey vibe since Peter is basically all grown up. As a kid I always preferred my heroes as adults, kid characters are not always going to resonate with kids themselves despite what some may believe.
