It's funny. I still watched this even though I bought every issue and read it lol. Dan Mora is a beast and Mariko Tamaki Is becoming a really good writer. This run just gets better and better as it goes along. I'm so invested in everyone's story. She really does a good job of balancing all the characters.

I like this new take on Batman, he isn't the great detective who can defeat any enemy with enough prep-time, that concept made the various amounts of bat-slander that we have these days and the writers really didn't do much justice to him at all (personal opinion). This whole storyline brings him down to his roots and has the potential to redefine him in a much better way both as a vigilante and as a person. His loss in funds although not much, but enough to change the way he handles money and the city worse than ever after the Joker war could bring out a much better side of Bruce.

@@gameplayer8998 But that money and influence brought the stereotype that batman can defeat anyone with enough prep-time. Prep-time doesn't always ensure victory, understand that. He is still a great detective, but that doesn't mean that he's always on the money. His gadgets and money are tools, they aren't what defines him, criminal fear the man who hunts in the night, not the loaded mf who thinks he can solve everything with prep-time. Any rich bastard can run into the streets with weapons and blow up criminals with no care, that's a fact, but its the man that matters
