They can never figure out a proper persona for her. Ever since Kara was brought back before the NEW52, every creative team that works with the character changes her so drastically. It never seems like you're reading the same character with any consistancy.

Well given that Superman isn't an origin story and Batman already had Damian and the Bat Family, it might be safe to assume that we're gonna jump into the middle of their lives after they've been doing their thing for years. As far as the movie being based on this story, I think it's a really weird place to start. Personally, I think the Supergirl movie should be based on Superman/Batman: The Supergirl from Krypton from 2004.

The ending is really what caught me off guard. Upon first reading it, I honestly thought that Ruthye had killed Krem with her cane, but he does "twitch" in the second panel. But goes into resting phase in the third, so it kinda makes it less clear, but I guess Tom King has said Ruthye didn't kill him. Even said, the ending felt a little cold, but when you think about how many people he senselessly murdered including her father, it may just be too hard of a thing for her to forgive, regardless of how much he changed. I am sure she is glad he has, but she still wants nothing to do with him, and I guess that is fair, is it not? I guess we expect a more fairytale ending, but not every story should be like that. The only other thing that bothered me was how much Supergirl cussed. It just felt a little over done, yeah she's more edgy than her cousin, I get that, but it was just a little much at times. The art is simply beautiful and kept me engaged when sometimes the story didn't. Overall though, I see why this is being made into a movie, just wonder how big the budget is going to be for it!

yes, this supergirl has already been on Earth for a few years. You can tell cause she has Krypto with her. Im assuming she just wanted to celebrate her birthday on a planet with a red sun and brought krypto along. Otherwise she woulnt feel the effects of the alcohol, she thought she was quickly gonna go in and out.

To me Tom King gets way to much hate for his Batman run but it really wasnt awful and had some really great single to 2 issue short stories and the Annuals were great too. Was it a perfect run? Not at all but it’s not horrible as some KZbinrs make it to be. But stuff like Supergirl:Woman of Tomorrow, Human Target, GothamCity: Year One, Batman/Elmer Fudd, Justice League Darkseid War:Green Lantern,are absolute comics perfection Mister Miracle, Strange Adventures, Rorschach, Batman:Killing Time, Love Everlasting and Dark Crisis Worlds Without A Justice League:Superman and Swamp Thing:Winter Special are a close close second Heroes in Crisis and Batman/Catwoman are…. Not great at all… interesting failures

I believe kryptonian aging rather slowly when energized by the sun constantly, In kingdom come, superman been self-isolating and didn’t get proper sun inside his cave so he’s aging rapidly
