Missed out on Rimuru. Edit : Rimuru as a white lantern. Rimuru is an otherworlder, unlike other otherworlder( people who got isekaid ) Rimuru obtained 2 unique skill. What is a unique skill? It is a power a manifestation of the desires of the holder. Even a single unique skill is very hard to obtain. Almost every other otherworlder had 1 unique skill when they got isekaid. The main reason is because he has a strong soul, which is likely reffering to the Energy Crystal ( the inner most part of what constitutes a soul ) this is two things spiritual energy and ego ( will / willpower). Rimuru has a soul on equal footing with a true dragon's soul. Unlike other races true dragons can never die as long as their will remains. Erased their physical body? Their spiritual body is there, destroyed the spiritual body? Astral body is there, destroyed even there heart core/energy crystal their conceptual self exist even destroyed that? As long as their even remains the concept of death is literally inapplicable ( TD are superior to every other races in every category which includes Primordial Demons. Primordial Demons are similiar but different from true dragons. True dragons are both the concept itself aswell as it's Personification and embodiment. They personify a concept(s) Velgrynd fire and acceleration or motion, Velzard Ice and deceleration or stillness, Veldora Storm, corrosion and 2 more concepts Veldanava creation and the concept of origin Rimuru likely chaos( creation + destruction ) as he can do what Veldanava can do.) Also his willpower was strong enough to manifest/upgrade his unique skill into an ultimate skill. Not just 1 but 4 at that. Raphael the manager of information and laws of the world Beelzebub the consumer of all things Uriel the manager of the faith of Rimuru's follower and space Veldora the connection between Rimuru and Veldora manifested as a power. Rimuru has Wrath, he killed 20k soldiers and it was like way worse in the Novel. He intentionally didn't insta kill he let them suffer, there is even a more cruel part in the manga which I suggest reading. It's related to one of the soldiers who gets killed in the Megido release. He has intense willpower as stated. Another showcase is When Rimuru found out that Veldora's connection got severed, he went full balistic and went against the enemy. He looked at the enemy and saw that his sworn brother was being manipulated initially he was losing but his willpower and his ultimate skill both were strong. His willpower remained strong and countered the existence erasure of Veldora. His ultimate skill now bore emotion thus Veldora's anti calculation ability were nullified. Rimuru thus showed his willpower and wrath onto his enemies. He has greed, he has shown to collect stuff. All he wants in the cardinal planet of the cardinal world(multiverse) among the worlds is have a good nation where he can enjoy various luxurious without the dangers. He has shown to show compassion if you haven't gone too far with your evil deeds, he may give you a first chance but never a second chance. As shown with Gadra and how he forgave him despite being on the enemies side initially. He has love and is loved. He loves/cares for his close ones. Friends, family and tempestian. Chloe, shion etc all when shion and others died due to his law he made he went and destroyed the nation who killed them. He is loved by his Manas : Ciel, his ultimate skill Raphael Lord of Wisdom threw it's shell(the ultimate skill) and became a Manas ( a being made of pure infon not to be confused with information. Infon are things that are Transcendent of time and space. Thus can travel in time and time stop and all their movement is within 0 time. ) Ciel is both Rimuru aswell as not Rimuru. Both exist in the same soul, Ciel exist in Rimuru's soul. He induces fear that can actually kill those who aren't strong enough. He this supresses his aura not to kill others. Even though he knew the children's were a lost cause he still had hope he wanted to save them. Thus he even listened to the words of others not caring if it was a myth or truth he went and searched for the labyrinth of the Fairy Queen. He entered succeeded and thus the children's who were bound to die were happy due to him. One of them even is a hero candidate as he is blessed by the Spirit of Light one of the qualification to be a hero is to be blessed by the spirit of light. Now here is another thing how is he the balance? Harmony? His element is chaos. His title of chaos creator doesn't only reflect the chaos he can create and he has created but also his nature. He is both an unholy and holy being, both a "monster" and a " human " he is seen as "evil" and "good". He doesn't want senseless war this always tried to avoid it. Also he holds the power to control life, death, space, time, elements, fate, causality, probability and so on.

He knew he had 0 shot against Freiza, yet continued to persist because he had hope that his actions would empower the other Saiyans to rebel. While that, didn't work, he did empower his son Kakarot to survive and gave him the chance to use his willpower. If not for Bardock's intervention, Kakarot would've died. He placed his hope in others even when it killed him.

And while carols love has shifted between toxic and genuine she’s generally been depicted as the latter in more recent story’s. I 100% agree with the Vegeta pick. He became a Super Saiyan out of sheer will. He overcame his fear of Frieza and fought him on Namek. He is will power incarnate in the DB universe. Even fighting Jiren he entrusted his power to Goku, that willpower still shining through in his defeat as he still gives what fight he can.

His will was not broken in the cell saga, as he still went on to fight cell after gaining a significant power boost. It's his ego that got shattered once he stupidly let cell absorb 18 and reach his perfect state. He easily gained the will to fight once again after Cell killed Trunks even though he basically got bitch-slapped down. Vegeta gets knocked down, but he never stays there. Make no mistake, no one is more worthy of an Orange Lantern ring than Gilgamesh, specifically the Fate version. That man _already_ collected and stored every treasure made by man, to the point that his vaults contain every treasure (weapons included) humanity _ever_ creates, past present and future. His vaults became known as the Origin of Human Knowledge, because all past treasures/weapons are said to be stored there, and all modern/future human weapons and overall creations are said to have originated from the treasures he stored in his Vaults of Babylon. The man quite literally goes around fighting with a meme build, he doesn't face his opponents in honorable combat, he just checks them by launching his wealth and treasures at them at ridiculous speeds, sometimes charging said treasures with mana so they turn from a weapon barrage to a bombardment, and then using a treasure/skill he has designed to recollect all the weapons he launched out/blew up and put them back in his Vaults. He doesn't even let the treasures he uses as ammo stay out of his vaults. His skill recreates them even if they were destroyed and leaves them ready for use. His entire existence in the Holy Grail Wars is literally just "That Grail thing looks cool, and that means it's probably mine, which means everyone trying to win it is a thief I have to execute". He views the entire planet as his personal garden he merely allows others to exist in. There's not a single being greedier than that man. Anything he views as valuable, he takes and shoves into his vaults. And he, for example, cared more about a jacket he was wearing than executing someone who he was planning to blast to ashes (the Main Character) so Gil let him live to make sure said jacket didn't get debris on it.

I think Makima would be better as an orange lantern. Her goal is to control everything and everyone. It might not be what most people think of when thinking about greed but basically everything she does is in service to gaining more power. Even having the past orange lanterns as her lackeys would be on par for her because she controls other devils in much the same way. I also think Yuji from JJK would make a good white lantern for much of the same reasons that Luffy and Violet would.

Dr. Eggman would make a great yellow lantern. His intellect would allow him to create inventive constructs (likely based on his own robots, with a fear twist). Not to mention, he relishes in the fear of the mobians/people he conquers and specifically tries to take over the world in a way that would inflict fear. Instead of just dropping bombs, he'd rather awaken an ancient God and use it to strike fear in those who would defy him.

For a red lantern, I would pick dio brando, he literaly rejected his humanity to destroy jonathan and conquer the world. Emporio would be a good Blue Lantern. Imagine seeing your mom die, having to forever run from the cops, living your entire life in prison, and witnessing all his new family be brutally murdered by an invincible Pucci just to see the universe's reset. And after everything, still having hope that your dead friends will come back from the dead and help you defeat Pucci, who was invincible. I think that meruem definitly would be an good starfire. An finny pick to the black core would be macqueen from jojo, his stand is the definition of "I realy want to kms, but not alone". And for a white lantern, Sonic is definitely the best pick. Remember Sonic and the Black Knight, the plot revolves around his love for the process of life and enjoying it to the fullest. And in Sonic Unleashed, he becomes friends with Light Gaia, the mother of life, in Sonic 06, he teaches the princesses how to embrace her emotions. Great video by the way ❤

Sonic isn't really an anime character - I know Sonic X exists but he's primarily from video games. That said, Silver would be a perfect Blue Lantern, and as the embodiment of freedom - you're right - Sonic would make a pretty great White Lantern.

I'd say Future Trunks for Blue, he pretty much entirely revolves around hope and serving as the sole protector of his timeline and allow humanity to have hope. Hell as far as the main Future Trunks is concerned (so not DBHeroes) his strongest technique which is only possible thanks to the hope he inspires in people is literally "The Sword of Hope."

Yapping Warning‼️: I think Guts would basically be like the Red Lantern and Blue Lantern Razer from Young Justice, I don't know if you know the character but basically he's a Red Lantern who managed to overcome his anger and after a long journey of self-discovery he managed to use his anger as a tool to generate hope in his people, becoming the user of a Red Ring and a Blue Ring * AT THE SAME TIME* (which should be impossible since the two rings repel each other lol), I think maybe Guts at first could only be a Red Lantern but then he could access this fusion of Red and Blue at the end of his "adventure"

Appreciate the sub! If Ultra Violet is self-loathing, Shinji definitely still fits, but another good (and funny) pick would be Bocchi from Bocchi the Rock. Anxiety and self-loathing are practically her entire thing lol. I know there is a gold corps of joy and a grey corps of depression(?) but they're super niche. I guess if I had to pick a gold lantern... other than Luffy again (Gear 5, Joyboy, etc) maybe Miro from MHA? Or Gojo from JJK. They're both goofballs who shoulder gigantic burdens with a smile.

How much effort do you put into these magnificent, masterful videos, from which it is impossible to tear yourself away. And of course, my favorite part was and will remain about green lanterns, or rather about Simon, you not only took a character from my favorite anime, but also showed how strong and stubborn he can be in his willpower. I believe that Simon awakens not just one of the strongest green lanterns, but the strongest green lantern, not just to jump above the heads of all the creators and owners of the green rings, but to be unattainable for their level of strength, to have so much willpower that it is not easy to cover the entire planet or galaxy with a green spectrum, but to cover and repaint the entire universe to them. @BWHERE And we also don't take into account the gain from the blue rings of hope, but I would bet that Simon with a green ring and, for example, Niya with a blue ring could fight back against the full body of black lanterns. Why her? She, like no one else, gave hope to Gurren Dan after Kamino's death, it was she who fully believed and hoped that Simon would be able to defeat her father, it was she who fully hoped that Simon would cope with the Anti-Spiralers, even when she was under their control, and it was Nia who became the reason and hope for Simon to move on.

@@BWHERE If I might throw my hat into the ring (no pun intended), I personally feel that Iris from the Mega Man X series would be a perfect Indigo Lantern. Due to her origin story, Iris was quite possibly the most compassionate character in the entire franchise due to her personality consisting of all of Mega Man X's kindness with virtually none of his willingness to fight. That being said, when the guy she's in love with kills her brother, who she may or may not share a mental connection with (Mega Man lore is weird, also Iris would probably work as a Star Sapphire-though I feel like her uniform would be a bit more conservative than those of the others), Iris *snapped,* merging herself with what remained of her brother and becoming an unstoppable behemoth devoid of most if not all of her original personality, especially her compassion. She only returned to normal after being fatally injured by her brother's killer and ends up dying in his arms. Oh, Iris could *maybe* work as a Black Lantern too, but if the crossover game Project X Zone is any indicator, Iris has very much accepted her fate, with her desire to see the guy she loves again and know for a fact that he still has a reason to keep fighting being the only thing keeping her from moving on for good.

I personally don’t believe Bakugou is nearly unempathetic enough to be an Indigo lantern, he'd fit the red or green lanterns much better. 2 much better MHA candidates for the indigo lanterns would be Muscular and Moonfish. Shigaraki and Overhaul could also be candidates but unlike Muscular and Moonfish, we have seen that they have at least a little care and empathy, Shigaraki with the rest of the league of villains and Overhaul with the old yakuza who took him in.

I was going to put down my candidate for love or Star Sapphire, that being Sailor Moon but then I heard your take on the Ultraviolets and agreed. If I was in charge of writing the Ultraviolets, I would pick grief as the primary emotion of the ring, because everyone has lost something or someone in their lives at some point or another. They lost a family member, lost a friend, lost a pet, lost a job, lover, etc., and vary in how they respond to that loss, some people develop self destructive tendencies like addictions, self harm or a depression that makes life unbearable for them. The rings abilities would center around this, where instead of it empowering what already exists within you, it makes you ruin your own life, and push away those who care about you, and if the rings are not removed then your grief can drive you into insanity where a veteran can decide to kill everyone and themselves because they have survivor's guilt or your very presence starts to make the planet wither and decay until you decide to move on.

So my MANY ideas.... Red: Gohan (the many rage boosts, see this as desperation), Z Broly (just makes sense) Orange: Nero (rewrites the rules to win for greed? Supposedly burned down Rome to expand his/her palace? Fits.) Yellow: Gilgamesh, Char (Mr. never on anyone's side), Diavolo, Light also fits here Green: Yoko (I had to), Optimus Prime (scrapped crossover, just fits), Silver (current crossover, I see Kyle Renger paralells), Ryoma Nagare (I need one funny pick, and the man too angry to die fits), granted WAY too many but most in White fit in Green. Blue: Silver (again) Indigo: Not a pick, but it's a funny visual of Kuzona holding down all of these villains and saying "DON"T DO BAD THINGS" Violet: Rain from G Gundam (the Sekiha Love Love Tenyokin is the coolest example of the power of love EVER), Amy Rose (obigotory Yandere spot) Ultraviolet: Heero Yuy (I picture this as the "emotional trainwreak" group.) Black: Insert dead character here, Mephiles White (or, More Green and also GODS): Shirou and Artoria/Saber from Fate, Goku, Domon from G Gundam, Kamen Rider Gaim, Simon also fits here

I think King from One Punch Man would be a good Blue Lantern. He has no power himself, but he constantly inspires hope in all the heros around him. He could be crying his eyes out screaming at how he doesn't want to die while running towards a monster and everyone around him would still some how see that as the most inspiring thing ever and rally around him to fight. He could also be a Yellow due to having an opposite effect on villains who poop themselves when they see him coming.

I feel like Ryusui is absolutely becoming a candidate for the orange ring, but he looses more than he gains, because while he is greedy and wants to own everything, there is still a layer of compassion in him that holds back his greed and makes him realize that owning everything isn't worth it if he can't enjoy it with the ones he cares about, giving him the orange ring would be like torture, since there is no more compassion, or care, just Greed

Guts from Berserk seems like a shoe in for a Red Lantern but there are a lot of other great options. What I think is the biggest missed opportunity here is Homura Akemi from Madoka Magica not being a Star Sapphire. Not only did she use up her wish that could be used for literally anything to try and save Madoka. Not only that she was willing to go through what was stated to be near a hundred time loops just to try and save her. If that's not dedication I don't know what is.

Dr. Kenzo Tenma from Monster, I think, would make an excellent Blue Lantern, since, to contrast Johan Liebert's nihilism, he inspires hope with the many people he comes across in his journey, whether he's actively saving people's lives or inspiring other people and bringing out their best selves.

Gai could also potentially also fall into Blue since Courage and Hope has some crossover there as well. Simon the Digger is another obvious candidate. Noriko Takaya from Gunbuster is someone who has overcome their own insecurity and fear in a crucial moment to become a powehouse of courage. Not only that, she also talked her partner out of her own fear-driven funk at another crucial junction. An unconventional candidate would be Ryoma, who's entirely willing to get out of his mech's cockpit to fight you on foot <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="7">0:07</a> Out of my personal catalogue if anime I've watched/read lore on, I was finding it difficult to find a candidate for Fear... You'd think Freeza, but his terror is largely impersonal, a side effect of his Modus Operandi. Sure he'll enjoy the fear of his enemies, but that's just standard villain dynamics. Stil find it difficult. Usagi "I fight for Love and Justice" Tsukino for Violet. Enough said. Though I guess she's also a candidate for blue, considering the endgame lore... Nono from Diebuster kind of falls here, I think? D-Boy/Takaya Aiba/Tekkaman Blade was a man that when at the final episode, despite his brain's neurons literally falling apart and effectively becoming a living vegetable, was driven by a rage so great that it was enough to continue driving his body to get the job done. It's pretty hard to find a more suitable Red Lantern candidate than that. "Indigo targets the most sadistic people" Ali Al Saachez. This is a man who had children kill their parents to prove themselves loyal to a "holy cause" that he himself didn't even believe in, all because he really, _really_ loves the chaos of war. He loves fighting, he loves killing, he enjoys seeing the look of outrage on past victims seeing him again, and loves the look of fear on his current victims as he slides a knife into their gut, because he's a sadistic asshole who's moral compass, if it existed, would effectively sit at "Yes".

Welp, might as well put in an interesting candidate for this The Legendary GK from Raimon, Endou Mamoru (Mark Evans). TBH it’s late and Idk if he would be a better Green or Blue lantern, as he has shown literal Bounds of hope and will. But for now I’ll do the blue lantern (but it’ll probably sound like a mixture of both, because it feels like it is writing it). Mans has some stupid hope, Like making people go literally insane type of hope. Every time he gets knocked down, when he can’t stop a shot, when he was forced to stop becoming the Goalkeeper just because of his tendencies to go help score a goal. All of these would be massive mental destroyers. And while he has gone through some rough bouts: Teammates leaving, becoming enemies, even in his future where he struggles with the dilemmas of a coach, this child at heard just gets back up and goes back to good ol “Let’s Play Football!” (SOCCA YAROUZE!!!) and EVERYTHING changes. That rush of adrenaline his team gets when he stops a shot is, well hope-inducing most times it happens in the cases where it’s needed. And the drawing power from green lanterns? Well he has had a fair few that he could choose from in his tenure, even so far as to draw out a LITTERAL POWER OF FRIENDSHIP version of his Iconic GK move “God hand”. Naruto in soccer form people. (figuratively and (jp) literally)

I guess the best way to describe ultra violet lanterns is Emotions hidden behind mental trauma that are subconciously felt but not conciously recognised....Like you feel rage but there is no motive behind it.... Or you feel shame...but don't know why Unlike a red lantern that has a clear goal and motive and source of their anger they can remember Utlraviolet lanterns emotions are like smeered paintings which is probably why there isnt even a ring for it
