I kinda feel bad that I like any story dealing with any rangers that aren't Mighty Morphing more... The Omega Ranger storyline is more interesting to me, same went for Shattered Grid, because we got to see so many other rangers.

This is awesome, I love that Jason, Trini, and Zack were still being rangers after they left. Although I wish they didn't hide it from their best friends its weird, and I like that Tommy has a problem with the new three comparing them to the original three and also I wish that bit had made it into the show showing that the new rangers had struggled to become as good as they were during the show after immediately becoming new rangers.

I agree, the new three rangers never struggled, but the all of the og rangers struggled except Tommy. That always rubbed me the wrong way, they came in and replaced the ppl who we were used to like nothing. I feel they never truly fit in, the places of the original, they were close, but no one had the swag of Zack, the leadership of Jason, or the ability to be the heart of team and/or fit in anywhere like Trini.

@@stanhenderson9928 I agree with you there, I'm more of a Jason fan then Tommy when it comes to being the leader. When Tommy became the white ranger and Zordon literally called him the new leader and I felt you literally couldn't wait until Jason and the others left so Jason can give the title of leader to Tommy like Tommy gave his dragon dagger and green power coin over to Jason? But Tommy did do some struggling at least, even now when I season 1-2 until after the original three leave I still see Jason, Trini, and Zack until Season 3 that's where I felt the new three started to become their own characters the most.

one these Omega Rangers Are FREKING AWASOME second I have felt that super mega force should have been called something different spit balled "Omega Force" but know that I see this idea I'm glad that the Writers went with this Idea for an Omega Force with the whole capturing thousands of dangerous to there universe or even Multiverse which can open a whole new can of worms for potential villain's they could use Writing wise this is a gold mine for potential stories ^^ and I'd love to see what there are going to do with it

The 1995 movie wasn't canon to the main story. Necessary Evil takes place not only after "White Light" (Tommy becomes the White Ranger) but after "The Ninja Encounter" (The Introduction of Rocky, Adam, And Ayesha) and "The Power Transfer" (Rocky, Adam, and Ayesha replace Jason, Zack, and Trini). But before "The Wedding" (Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd Getting married).

@@natesgeeklounge The movie is its own separate universe. It's not part of comic continuity. BUT! That doesn't mean Ivan Ooze as a retelling is off the table, he could still appear. The comic universe doesn't have any restrictions as it is a separate entity from the shows entirely as an entirely different multiverse. That includes separate from the movie. This allows them more freedom to make references, but not have to stick to strict adherence, and allows the shows to not have to keep comic structure either. They can freely make references for nods, but more directly, the references are similar but slightly different. Like a Drahken reference in the show doesn't mean the comic story while yes it alludes to it, what it means is a story that's similar but different and hasn't been told yet. This is how they avoid the timeline issues too. Another example, in movie continuity, Ninjor as we see him in the comics doesn't exist. Which that right there shows the movie isn't cannon to the comics nor can be. But again, that doesn't mean Ivan Ooze can't be used. Only that it'd have to be a new telling.

*hits blunt* You know what would have been good for a Power Ranger game instead of Battle for the Grid is a roleplaying one or an mmorpg. Taking the idea from the Grid and the fact that there can be numerous singular power rangers or a squad, they can make one where you can make your own character and choose which color of ranger you want to be and if you want to play co-op story or something you can join a squad that needs your color ranger or just join a war requiring one specific color like when all red rangers showed up. Not sure how a Power Ranger Samurai would show up to a story such as Wild Beast look the point is given the sheer amount of rangers over the decades the possibility is there.
